Don't think we had one of these for winter yet.
Updated/Final chart: http://i.minus.com/i8I2SwQ2SdUqK.jpg
http://www.moetron.com/2011/10/02/winter-2011-12-visual-guide-and-anime-listing/ [Edit: while Moetron is still down, you can see the chart here: http://i.minus.com/iLFvWTVZvHY5M.jpg]
Also saw this posted on otaku.com blog: http://0taku.livedoor.biz/archives/4033553.html
Episode counts base on some early TV station listings (tentative!)
Tantei Opera Milky Holmes 2 - 12 episodes
Zero no Tsukaima Final - 12 episodes
Mouretsu Uchuu Kaizoku (Pirates) - 26 episodes
Brave10 - 12 episodes
Ano Natsu de Matteru - 12 episodes
Another - 12 episodes
Papa no Iu Koto wo Kikinasai! - 26 episodes
Senhime Zesshou Symphogear - 13 episodes
Nisemonogatari - 13 episodes
Black Rock Shooter - 8 episodes
- Very much did not expect two cour for Papa to Ui Koto. Poster at the link seems to be wondering if its 15 minute episodes or something. Assuming it's correct.
- Mouretsu Pirates is listed as two cour so far as well.
- Nisemonogatari at 13 is fine... just get it done in 13, Shaft. None of this crap that happened to Bake.
- Expected one cour for ZnT but still slightly disappointing. Covering 1 novel per episode, lol good luck. >_> Yeah yeah I know they'll just cut 80% of the novels out, they have no choice really.
- Added BRS since we already know. 8 eps + CG = no thanks.

In order of interest within each category...
Sequels I'm watching
Nisemonogatari - Fuck yes. Almost guaranteed import. Just hope it ends more strongly (in various senses) than Bakemonogatari.
Natsume Yuujin-chou Shi - Guaranteed import.
Zero no Tsukaima F - Too bad only one cour.
Tantei Opera Milky Holmes 2
Smile Precure - Assuming I ever catch up on Suite.
Amagami SS+ - Maybe... never finished the first season, but wanted to. Will try to squeeze Tsukasa's arc in before this starts.
New shows that I have some interest in already
Kill Me Baby - One of the few times I've read any of a manga before seeing the anime. Have only read maybe 10-15 chapters or whatever but it's consistently amusing.
Ano Natsu de Matteru - The Onegai team is back... really looking forward to this.
Another - PA Works is at least very pretty even when the shows don't work for me, so I'll check this out.
Papa no Iu to Kikinasai! - Because it looks cute. The little girl looks like a loli-Hibiki in the chart's image... and of course bajillions of "Haruhi clone!" charges have already been made regarding the oldest sister, but whatever, that's not a bad thing for me.
Gokujo - Is this yuri? If so, I'm interested, otherwise I'm no more interested than in any of the others I know nothing about yet.
Senhime Zesshou Symphogear - Looks to be mecha musume, but I also give about 90% odds it'll be full of shit CG and I'll drop it after one episode. I really hope not though.
Top 5
Nisemonogatari
Natsume Yuujin-chou Shi
Kill Me Baby
Ano Natsu de Matteru
Zero no Tsukaima F
superdry

So, far the Winter shows are a little underwhelming for me right now on paper.
Shows I will watch
Zero no Tsukaima F: This is also an instant buy no matter how much JC Staff butchers it. Sucks it's only one cour.
Nisemonogatari: I liked Bake enough that I would watch this. Very high probability of importing.
Show I will check out at least the first few episodes
Kill Me Baby - this looks highly amusing and the covers of the manga interested me.
Papa no Iu to Kikinasai! - looks really cute and fun.
Gokujo - the whole "slightly risque" part in the synopsis intrigued me
Senhime Zesshou Symphogear - mechamusume...why not.

New Natsume is the only thing I can guarantee I'll watch and love all of right now. I'll definitely be looking more into everything and seeing what looks likely, and of course I'll end up checking out a little bit of almost everything legally available to see if there are any pleasant surprises.
Oh yeah, I remember seeing a video for that Kyousogiga one a while back. So it's going to be an ONA, and starting in about a week. I hope it makes its way over here. The video looked pretty damn fantastic.

There are a few things of interest this season. I'm continuing Last Exile: Fam and Chihayafuru from Fall.
Mouretsu Pirates - The show I'm looking forward to most and that's because of Tatsuo Sato directing and writing.
Rinne no Lagrange - This has potential. Tatsuo Sato is also chief director and the other director previously directed parts of Fafner and Heroic Age so this could end up being good.
Black Rock Shooter - That OVA was mediocre. I'll likely try it but my expectations are low.
Natsume Yuujinchou Shi - I recently finished season 2 so it'll be a while yet before I watch this. I don't quite love the show as much as other people seem to but it's good.
Berserk Golden Age Arc I - New Berserk. Hell yes.
Kyousogiga - The animation from the PV (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=In4YoCWTKiM) looks amazing.

Ano Natsu de Matteru - The Onegai team is back... really looking forward to this.
It's more of a mix of some of the Onegai team with some of the Anohana team, which has me interested (I actually have the former, but still haven't watched it yet  ).
I still haven't watched Bakemonogatari, but I think I may use the sequel coming up as an excuse to finally watch it since I've been interested.

I'm looking forward to Nisemonogatari, Kill Me Baby, Another and Black Rock Shooter.
Kill Me Baby looks like a ton of fun judging from the PV which just came out.
Will definitely watch these
Natsume Yuujin-chou Shi - I've been hoping the next cour will show up.
Ano Natsu de Matteru- Liked the Ogenai shows (Twins more than Teacher) so I've got high hopes for this.
Nisemonogatari - really wonder where this one is going to go.
Amagami SS- Can't figure out what they're going to do with this. A rehash of the previous shows? Seems like they covered everything.
Gonna try these out but I'm not sure whether I'll like them.
Another
Papa no Iu Koto wo Kikinasai!
Inu x Boku
Daily Lives of High School Boys- I'm hoping this one is everything that is lacking in Kimi to Boku.

There are a few shows I am interested in, particularly Familiar of Zero F, Milky Holmes 2, and Nisemonogatari for being sequels to shows I like. Other than that, there is not much I'm too excited about. And then there are the shows continuing from the fall season (Fate/Zero, Chihayafuru, Guilty Crown, and Last Exile: Fam the Silver Wing) that will leave me short on time for new stuff coming out.

Aquarion EVOL trailer, so fucking hype, 2 cours with the first episode being an hour long, fuck yeah and AKINO!!!!!!
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N1onzPrdTac&feature=player_embedded
Amata = Yuuki Kaji
Mikono = Kayano Ai
Zessica = Hanazawa Kana
Kagura = Kouki Uchiyama
Mykage = Yuuchi Nakamura

Seiyuu+character design from left to right in the order I listed.
lol guilty crown reunion.
So awesome they got AKINO w/Bless 4 back, Aquarion + Oban Star Racers OPs were amazing... and this is shaping up good too.

That Aniplex producer really won't get a chance to pull what he did with this and than OreNo. Most novel readers think that 13 episodes is more than enough for Nise.... while it's also 2 novels, it happens to be much slimmer than Bakemonogatari.... This is really 2 stories compared to the 5 we had before. I think each novel is like 100 pages less compared to Bake...

Jesus Christ, this looks incredibly good. I really hope I don't have to see the original to watch EVOL.
I think it will be like Macross Frontier and mostly be fine for people who haven't seen the original series. It would be kinda silly to strictly focus something as potentially as big as this on the fanbase of the first one. I'm sure the 12 thousand year thing will get explained enough during the course of the show...
But you have to listen to the first OP Sousei no Aquarion as well as its variation in Genesis of Aquarion. Two of the best things Yoko Kanno has done and the OP itself always ranks highly in those 2ch best anime songs of all time lists.
All this time these twelve thousand years I know AISHITERU!!
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oE6RtY7a2a0
You can see how much the CGI animation has improved in the last 7 years.. definitely looks like they've got the Macross Frontier/Infinite Stratos team working on this (who were probably the same guys who did the original Aquarion anyway)

I remember this opening a lot actually, it's incredibly catchy.
I assume EVOL will be similar to Diebuster, where you don't need to see Gunbuster but it'll benefit you if you have already seen it so you can catch all of these neat little bonuses. Such as you might know what the Aquarion's abilities are before they even show it.
Though I hope EVOL is like Macross F, because I'm really into what I saw from every PV which has been released thus far, unlike with the original series I fairly put off by the character designs, bad CGI and the fact it felt the same as every other mecha show at the time.
With EVOL the character designs and CGI have greatly improved, and I hope the story is a million times better too.

Gokujo - Is this yuri? If so, I'm interested, otherwise I'm no more interested than in any of the others I know nothing about yet.
Ehhhhh, not really. It's mostly a raunchy ecchi series in attempts to be "edgy" but ends up looking more embarrassing than the characters themselves. I'd say it's in a similar vein to High School Girls.
Now if you want something yuri with "Gokujo" in the title, you want to wish for Gokujou Drops.

Okay thanks, not interested then. will probably still try it, but no need to have it in my anticipated shows list.

That I actually have read. Was amusing. The usual bullying stuff might be kind of annoying in animation, but I'd still watch.

Well, since no show seems to be epic, like Haganai is this season, for winter 2012, I will save my money to get the Blu-ray and CDs from K-On!. Let's hope I'll have the time to get all BDs before they sell out! I'm thinking buying 1 volume a month (for all 16 BDs) + some CDs each month.
Gokujo - Is this yuri? If so, I'm interested, otherwise I'm no more interested than in any of the others I know nothing about yet.
Based on the manga the closest other series I can think of like Gokujo is High School Girls - it can be funny but often crosses the line into 'ick' territory. Gokujo is also much more yurified, and pretty much all of the girls seem to be in love with the lead despite her ego.
The shows I'm most interested in are:
Nisemonogatari
Zero no Tsukaima
Natsume Yuujincho
Amagami
Ano Natsu
I don't know anything about the other shows this season but I'm sure a few more will catch my attention once they air.

Series of potential interest include....
Smile Pretty Cure
So long as there is another season of Pretty Cure to watch, I'll be there!
Kyousogiga
It sounds like there's potential to be interesting, but it could also get rather boring fast if they're not confident. I'll give this a few episodes.
Recorder to Randoseru
So we have an anime based on a 4-Koma where the lead female aka Atsumi is 17 and only 137 centimeters. I feel like it's my destiny to try this.
Amagami SS+ Plus
Well, the first season was decent enough, so I'll try this one. That's all I really have to say on it.
Natsume Yuujin-chou Shi
I never did finish season 3, like so many series from Summer or Spring, it just fell through the cracks. So wait, maybe this doesn't count until I find motivation to finish the previous?
Tantei Opera Milky Homes 2
Yes, the first series was flawed, but it was still fun. I just hope for some changes to the formula a bit. Also, more fanservice and less fearservice please
Zero no Tsukaima F
Season 2 and 3 had their problems, so I'm kind of cautious. Hopefully this being the final season will give them motivation to handle it properly.
Mouretsu Pirates
This will either be very stupid or very awesome. I'm willing to gamble. Maybe we can have music videos with that "You are a pirate" song?
Papa no Iu Koto Kikinasa!
This has potential to go various ways depending on how the original developed, how it gets adapted and what people read into. I'll probably give it a try, maybe check out some of the manga. Which I might have already.
Rinne no Lagrange
Well, this one could be fun. So I guess I'll try it a bit.
Senhime Zesshou Symphogear
Darn it! Noise is more evil than I thought. Well, it does seem to have a bit of a music theme and sounds kind of odd. So an episode or two, maybe.
Nisemonogatari
I never did finish those bonus episodes of Bakemonogatari. Still maybe I'll try this anyway, maybe.
Another
Well, this could be interesting if they develop the story properly. I get the feeling it might take a few episodes for things to flow.
Kill Me Baby
Of course, I'm going to try this one. The manga is quite fun.
Ano Natsu de Matteru
Well, the red head does look decent, so maybe I'll try it.

Note, I might be missing some titles and some of those might not longer apply. Have to wait until those links are back up.
Well, some titles are not included on purpose because there are only so many times I can say "It could go either way"

Rinne no Lagrange is going to be split cour, 12 eps in Winter and 12 in Fall. Horizon, Fate, now this. Generally, split cour shows haven't been pre-announced as such in the past, right? At least it seems like a number of shows that ended up being considered "split cour" weren't openly declared as such this early on.
I still think it does make sense, financially. Instead of one 8- or 9-disc release, as people would expect from a 2-cour show, they can do two 6-disc releases without it being called out as a high disc count a la Gosick of Nichijou.
Though I'm sure this show will be full of CG so I doubt I'll be watching it.

Not sure. I'm pretty sure we knew Kaminomi was split core before it started. Same with... uh, that show about the ghost girl and the robot things that I never finished the first season of. Not sure about any others.

Ah, doesn't seem like much for me to add additional comments on that wouldn't boil down to "Could go either way".
You know, I find I never really feel like commenting on the "Here is a bunch of stuff get an OVA/OAD/Whatever episode" category. Even if some of it is related to favorites of mine.

I usually don't even look at said category... I don't get around to watching probably three-quarters of the specials/movies/OVAs that come out for franchises I already like, let alone standalone stuff. :sd:
If I'm eagerly anticipating a movie or OAD/OVA/BD bonus ep/Special, that usually means I'm hugely in love with the franchise. Like K-ON!... WANT BD NOW ;_;

The actual NND upload is region locked, but you can still view it on the website.
Visually it looks pretty amazing, hopefully it's not all just from a one episode blown budget. There was far less 3dcg than I assumed there would be, so I'm pleasantly surprised that it's not off my list after the first real trailer. I suppose I shouldn't get my hopes up too high though, it is exactly the kind of show where that stuff is most prevalent nowadays.
Mizuki Nana and Yuuki Aoi! <3 I guess they'll be getting a lot of music sales out of this thanks to Nana. And man, Takayama Minami has been in the business forever. It's not a name I knew, but it's certainly a voice I knew, mostly as Kati in 00 and Dark Precure. And Dilandau in Escaflowne, heh. Rounding out the main four, we get some Iguchi Yuka as well. Edit: Oooh, a Sawashiro Miyuki too.
