-We open at Los Angeles International Airport where Miyuki is saying goodbye to 2 friends that she's made in her stay here in the States for training in profiling. Time to check in with the airline...Oh, were you in line? And quite the gentleman for such a young boy!

-Here's my seat and...Oh, it's the little boy that I met earlier! Travelling alone, eh? Well, we'll just enjoy the trip together then.

-A little time to get caught up with what's been happening back at Bokuto Station thanks to a letter from Natsumi (With pictures of everyone back home): Yoriko & Aoi are doing fine as always, Saori transferred to another police station, the Chief's even more cool than ever, Ken...Is still Ken (Though he may have put on some weight) & Natsumi's been doing Ranger training with the Self Defense Force (And may be stronger than ever when you return to Tokyo)!

-A video game on the laptop to pass the time...Oh, do you want to try it? Try to predict the characters' movements & you'll do fine. So your maternal grandmother lives in Japan, eh? BTW, my name's Miyuki Kobayakawa-What, your mother's name is Miyuki too? And your name's Randy-Nice to meet you!

-So Randy wants to visit a castle, meet a real samurai & become strong? He must have a lot weighing on him...

-You have to leave, Tsujimoto? Come back for the arm wrestling contest next year!
Let's stop to eat on the way back, OK?
Meanwhile, it just dawns on Ken that Miyuki is returning today along with Natsumi & he just swapped shifts with another motorcycle cop whose wife is expecting! Not to worry, Ken-The Chief's got you covered! ;)

-No one's come for you, Randy? I can take you to Tokyo if you don't mind...Who are you? You came to pick up Randy? That look on Randy's face...Something's not right here!

-Nice throw, Miyuki! Hey, that man has a gun-Come on, Randy! Where can we go...That van! Sorry sir, but I need to borrow this!
Meanwhile, Ken arrives just in time to see Miyuki & Randy being pursued by the tough guy (Now in a black Mercedes with another man driving) & goes after them himself-Kobayakawa must be in trouble! Randy, do you know who those people are?

-You're Randy Hammond (Son of a Minnesota tycoon & his wife who both died recently)? His father's company is in the middle of a custody battle surrounding Randy-No wonder these men are after him! Ken & two patrol cars are after the black sedan but the patrol cars are taken out thanks to warning shots by one of the men in the sedan...

-By now, the chase is being televised and at a certain diner...That van...There's only one person I know who drives like that-Miyuki! I've got to get there fast...I'm borrowing that motorcycle in the back of our truck!

-This van may not be "Today" but never underestimate Miyuki's driving skills! She's headed for Bokuto Station so Ken calls ahead...

-NATSUMI POWER KICK! And then a leap into the rear of the van!
Now off the Expressway to a very friendly sight-A roadblock set up by the Chief!
There they are...Now, Natsumi! Too bad these perps don't have Natsumi's feet brake!

-Randy's safe, the perps are in custody (Too bad about the van & one of the patrol cars, though) & "Bokuto's Best Partners" are back!

Next time-Episode 2, "The Blue-Eyed Samurai"

-Even though Miyuki & Natsumi saved Randy from the kidnappers, the Chief IS NOT happy with how they pulled it off: Couldn't you two have handled it another way? Do I have to send you two back for training?

-"Ninja Lady" Natsumi, eh? If not for her timely arrival Miyuki & Randy might not have come out of that chase safely so it's apropo, I guess.
Meanwhile, what to do about Randy? With him being the sole heir to his late father's company several of his relatives in the States want custody of him but Miyuki decides that it would be best to get Randy to his grandfather here in Tokyo. BTW, nice wake-up call for Natsumi there (Though not as loud as the skillet & the rolling pin).

-So these two visitors to the Traffic Section are lawyers for Mr. Hammond's company? Even though you say that you didn't send those thugs, you can't have Randy!

-It's your life, Randy...What do YOU want to do?
He wants to become stronger & to see his grandfather despite what you gentlemen say-It's decided!

-Randy, meet "The White Hawk of Bokuto"! So you want to see a castle-Ken will take you there!
Meanwhile, Miyuki & Natsumi go to see Randy's grandfather, Toranosuke Ikari to talk to him about Randy.
"Tora-chan", Natsumi? Really?

-OK Mr. Ikari, if you say that you have no grandson & you've severed ties with your daughter then why do you still have a picture of her & flowers in her memory? Come on-Randy's waiting!

-"Someone who is true to their beliefs & has a strong sense of justice"...I guess that does fit Ken, doesn't it (When he's not stumbling over himself with Miyuki of course ;)). Want to do some samurai training, Randy?

-You see, Mr. Ikari? Randy inherited your samurai spirit-He is definitely your grandson!
Never mind any claim to the Hammond Group-My grandson is staying with me!

-C'mon, Ken...SAY IT!

Next time-Episode 3, "The Powerful, No-Parking Wrestler!"

-You need to go on a diet, Yoriko? You? On the other hand, we all know how much of an eater Natsumi is but where does she put it all? Apparently she burns it all off with her strength & all-That's some metabolism she's got!
Oh, here's Detective Tokuno with a treat for everyone-Taiyaki from Koganeya!

-This must be some awesome taiyaki for there to be long lines & waits of up to 2 hours for it.
Never mind your diet, Yoriko-Try one!

-Looks like it's true about the Koganeya taiyaki stand...Not only is there a long line but a lot of cars parked along the street leading up to it as well! This guy who's watching it all from his apartment...He needs an opponent?

-Time for Miyuki & Natsumi to go on patrol (Their first since returning to Bokuto Station)...Now they truly are home again! That taiyaki was really good-Why don't we stop by Koganeya on our patrol?

-We're almost there...Say, what's going on with all those people? "No Parking Fire"? And those cars...Who could have stood them on end like that? This area is actually a no-parking zone but still...

-Leave it to Natsumi to set the cars back on the ground! Wait...An intense fighting spirit! But where?

-So in addition to using bad penmanship the perp also wrote his signs with paint that school children use? There were no signs of heavy equipment use so he must have moved those cars himself-No Natsumi, don't compete with guy!

-This guy apparently lives in the vicinity but he should leave enforcing the parking laws to us...Wait a minute, Miyuki! That condo in the photo...

-This guy's a former pro wrestler, eh? He still craves action though...

-The owner of Koganeya can only make a limited number of taiyaki each day so he's hoping (As is the rest of the Traffic Section) that Miyuki & Natsumi can catch "No Parking Fire" before he completely drives his business away. We'll see what happens today...

-Another long line plus people are still parking illegally...Oh, hello. You're Michiyo, Koganeya's daughter? You say that the baking molds that you use are your grandfather's & weigh 5 kilos each? No wonder that it takes as long as it does for your father to make the taiyaki!

-Miyuki...I'm sensing that intense fighting spirit again...
Since Koganeya is about to sell out anyway lets call it a day, OK?

-Uh oh, a call from Yoriko..."No Parking Fire" has appeared & this time there are witnesses!
Let's go, Natsumi!

-A walking car? We've got to stop him!
Natsumi vs "No Parking Fire", round 1-FIGHT! "Gorilla woman", huh? You shouldn't have said that, bucko! ;)

-Man, if it wasn't for that painful (To say the least) flashback he might've gotten away...

-So he's actually Condor Tiger, eh? Kids looked up to you as a hero & now you're wasting away because you lost a match? Natsumi's right, you know-You're still in your prime & your fighting spirit is still strong! Use your strength for something positive...

...And what better way to do so than to help Koganeya & his daughter in their taiyaki business? Hey, the Chief's here in line-You ARE buying for everyone in the Traffic Section, right? ;)

Next time-Episode 4, "Snake Panic at Bokuto Police Station"

-Bokuto Car 3, what's going on? Aoi & Yoriko are in a panic over-A monster in the car??
Oh, it's only an iguana...Her name is Ayarin & she belongs to you, Yukari?

-Yukari (A high schooler) really likes reptiles, doesn't she? On the other hand, we all know how Miyuki is concerning ghost stories & the like but reptiles too? BTW Miyuki, meet Shou-kun (Who has definitely taken a liking to you)! :sdsmiley:

-Heading back to Bokuto Station...We're not accelerating for some reason. What could it be? I'll check it out when we get back....

-No Ken, Shou-kun is not a guy but is actually a python! Speaking of which, Yukari has just noticed that Shou-kun is missing from her apartment...

-Something just slithered by? And touched your leg, Aoi? Oh hi, Yukari...Shou-kun's missing? Just as I thought-He's here in the station somewhere! Time for "Operation Python Capture"! Just don't tell Miyuki about this, OK?

-Good grief, Ken! Can't you tell the difference between a snake-skin belt & a real snake?

-Hmm, there's nothing wrong with "Today"...Better close the garage door because of the rain...It's not working right either!

-Miyuki's locker? There's Shou-kun's molted skin but no Shou-kun though. Wait a minute...He rode back with us in "Today"! Uh-oh...

-That scream...It's Miyuki! Step aside, Ken-Natsumi will get the garage door open!
Wow...Shou-kun REALLY loves Miyuki, doesn't he? :sdsmiley: :nosebleed:

-Looks like Miyuki's back to normal...Oh, Yukari's come to visit & she brought Shou-kun with her! He wants to go on a date with Miyuki? YAHHH!
You know, a little Ranger training might do Ken some good...;)

Next time-Episode 5, "There's a Baby Locked in the Car!"

-A rash of car break-ins, eh? The Investigation Section can count on us to help!

-Hmm, some nice cars here...A baby? Nothing in this red car that I want but these other cars have swag! What a haul!
But later...A newspaper story about a baby left in a car...Is that red car still there?

-That's right, lady...It's YOUR car that caught fire! What, your baby Yuuta was inside?
Looks like the car burglar struck here & must've taken the baby with him...

-Can you believe this chick? You don't leave your baby in the car for ANY reason, especially in this heat!
Thank you, Miyuki! That's exactly what that woman needed to wake her up to reality!

-This thief's a pro but taking care of a baby seems a bit much for him. What to do with him?

-This guy only takes cash & relocks the cars that he breaks into...And he's been doing this for the past 30 years? You'd think that somebody could've IDed this guy by now, right?

-Looks like our young mother finally sees things as they are. Don't worry...The police will find your baby!

-Only one thing to do...Leave the baby somewhere that he can be found by someone (Discreetly, of course). The hospital? Too many people. :sweat: Oh wait...This police station...Yikes, no!

-Amazing, isn't it? This thief evaded the police for 30 years but since he wanted to save the baby in the car he gets nabbed at last thanks to Miyuki & Natsumi. Why don't you return the baby to his mother personally? She'll be grateful & it'll probably reduce your sentence too.

-C'mon, Chief...15 straight losses to Detective Tokuno? You slacker! :P

Next time-Episode 6, "Aoi Becomes a Man?!"

-Meet Kumanosuke Utamura, a retired police officer 2 years removed from the force & now recalled to service as a police box counselor attached to Bokuto Station. He seems reliable...BTW, where's Aoi?

-Why are you hiding here in the break room, Aoi? Oh, so that's it-You worked with Utamura before in the Anti-Chikan unit & he's been trying to make a man out of you?
You can't hide from him forever...

-It's been a long time, Aoi! Now that we're working together again, I'll make a man out of you for sure! Good luck with that, Utamura...

-Osu! We'll start with learning sure-fire arrest techniques in the station dojo (And I mean EVERYONE, including the Traffic Section)! The "One-Arm Shoulder Throw Old Bear", eh? Natsumi takes him on first-Has she finally met her match?

-Only 2 students today (Aoi & Natsumi)? We'll press on with training anyway!
How about some real male bonding at this bath, Aoi? Um, well...Natsumi's fine on the women's side but I don't think the men's side is ready for Aoi...

-You know, Utamura probably thinks very highly of Aoi to go to these lengths to make a man of him. Not at training or his police box for the past three days...He's taking a few days off? Let's go see how he's doing...

-So Utamura hurt his back, eh? No wonder he hasn't been in to work! He looks strong in that picture from back in the day...Gah, Yoriko! Move your finger so we can see Aoi!

-Thank you for coming...A cell phone? One of them must have left it...I'll return it while on my patrol...Aoi? This is yours? Uh oh, those two on the bike...

...Are robbing the convenience store! Utamura does his best but...Aoi! Way to go!
Utamura's OK & the other perp won't get very far thanks to Natsumi!

-A drink at an oden stand to end the night, just as we did before after wrapping up a case. Looks like Utamura has come to realize what we've always known-Aoi is Aoi. ;)

This was the first of 3 early episodes focusing on Aoi, Yoriko & the Chief (And a fun one overall, especially with Aoi's perfect body throw of that perp in the store).

Next time-Episode 7, "The Taxi Robber"

-An intoxicated woman is held up in a green taxi...But the next day, a driver being ticketed by Miyuki & Natsumi claims that he was run into the guard rail by a green taxicab! Outside of skid marks on the road there's no other evidence to support the driver's story so...

-A rash of robberies involving drunk female victims & a lone green taxi? Maybe that driver was telling the truth about his accident!

-A week of searching each taxi at different checkpoints turns up nothing...These perps have some nerve, don't they?

-Apparently these guys only strike on weekends when folks are most likely out drinking, otherwise why wait a week before striking again if they're using multiple cars? Wait-The accident site might have the answer!

-Nothing here so far...That graffiti wasn't on the guardrail before...Wait, there! That green paint!

-Miyuki's got the answer: These perps are using only one car but they repaint it a different color each time & since it takes a week for the paint job to dry...They'll use black next!

-Natsumi as a red-head & Miyuki as a blonde are cute, I must say. However, since they're doing this little stakeout without the Chief's knowledge or approval they're taking a big (And potentially dangerous) chance here. Ken's backing them up just in case, though...

-Really, Natsumi! Drinking with those guys at a time like this! But they do give our duo good info on the perps they're looking for though...

-Nice, now Natsumi's too drunk for us to continue! We'll try again tomorrow...A black cab? Nothing in the trunk so it must be OK...

-Ken, you might as well call it a night too...Wha? You're the robber but where is that other voice coming from? The front passenger seat-Oh no! Natsumi, wake up!

-You idiots just made a BIG mistake...Here comes the "White Hawk of Bokuto"!
Ken's not called that for nothing, you know! ;) Thank goodness-Miyuki & Natsumi are OK...

...But in the doghouse with the Chief the next day despite bringing the perps in with Ken's help. Tokuno's right though-Next time take him with you!

-So Ken was worried about them & was following the black cab the whole time? Good thing too-He really saved Miyuki & Natsumi back there. And I agree with Miyuki about Ken's finishing move-So cool! :cool:

Next time-The focus is on the Chief in Episode 8, "Chief Has An Illegitimate Child?! A Dangerous Picnic"

-So the Chief walks to work, eh? Wait a minute...Someone's following him...Tsujimoto??
No, she's just early getting to work (An event in itself ;)) but someone else was definitely following the Chief!

-Who could be stalking the Chief? A perp he arrested years ago? A citizen complaining about Bokuto's traffic cops? Oh hi, little girl...Wha? She called the Chief "Papa"?? NO WAY!

-OK Chief, come clean! Who's the mother of little Souko? Uh oh, she has to go potty-Good thing Miyuki is better with kids than Natsumi, eh?

-Apparently Souko mistook the Chief for her daddy & followed him here to the station. Juvenile Division has no missing persons report on her so she must live nearby...

-Souko's a feisty 4 year-old, isn't she? Thank goodness Aoi & Yoriko found her grandmother to take her home!

-So Souko's father (A truck driver who could be the Chief's twin) died a month ago but she hasn't accepted it yet? Plus her mother left them when Souko was still a baby...

-Chief, I want you to go on a drive with me this Sunday...But dress like this...For Souko!

-That's right Natsumi, you can't be scary today...But nothing says that the Chief can't! So back off, bucko!

-And I thought that Miyuki was the only one who was a good cook...Natsumi did a great job with the picnic lunches! I'm impressed & so is the Chief! Also, who else can turn a paddleboat into a speedboat with no need for a motor? :D

-Heading home now...That truck ahead of us...The driver's unconscious! No Tsujimoto, I won't have a subordinate do this...Take the wheel!

-We're so used to seeing Miyuki & Natsumi do things like this that it almost seems strange to see the Chief doing the rescuing...But he pulls it off & saves the truck driver!
Looks like Souko has finally come to terms with her father's passing too...But now she wants to marry the Chief? A new rival, Natsumi? ;)

Next time-Yoriko has the spotlight in Episode 9, "Yoriko Nikaidou, Bachelorette"

-Yep, this one's all about Yoriko! A call from her mom...When are you getting married? I guess that guy in the picture your mom sent you (For a marriage meeting) isn't the answer-Don't give up yet!

-So Miyuki & Natsumi have been selected to assist in a Special Investigative Unit covering a rash of home burglaries? As expected of "Bokuto's Best Partners" but Yoriko & Aoi also draw a special assignment...

...At Bokuto Middle School giving a class on traffic safety to some unruly students (Who seem to know all the right buttons to press where Yoriko is concerned)! BTW, Aoi's not quite as scary as Miyuki when pressed but he can lay the hammer down if need be, right boys? ;)

-Cheer up, Yoriko-Don't let those boys get to you! Oh, there's Miyuki & Natsumi with the SIU...Yes, they do fine work as police officers but you're a good police officer too. Try to keep your chin up, OK?

-Off duty now...A fortune teller? Uncanny how she seems to know about Yoriko's concerns, isn't she?
She says that your "Mr. Right" is close by? The Chief? Naw (Especially if Natsumi found out about it). Ken? Better not if you don't want a scary Miyuki on your case (With guns blazing!). How about Aoi? He is a man after all...:eek:

-Aoi, let's make a quick stop at that fortune teller that I was telling you about OK?
But when they get there, Detective Tokuno & several other officers are outside the door...The fortune teller was actually a swindler?

-You went so far as to go to the fake teller twice? Oh, Yoriko...Hey, Miyuki & Natsumi are back from cracking the burglar case! Please don't tell them about this, Aoi!

-Want to join us to celebrate, Yoriko? Oh, you can't make it...Another social?
No, but on her way home...That boy from the middle school class! He's in trouble with those guys!

-That's right guys, you shouldn't have pushed her-She's Yoriko Nikaidou of the Tokyo Metropolitan Police! Let's see...Obstruction of Justice, Attempted Extortion, Assault, Illegal Parking, etc. plus she's already called the station so more cops are on the way! ;) What's it going to be?

-Thank goodness they bought the bluff (And that the boy's safe too)! Way to go, Yoriko!

-Next day at work...A little late for everyone to try to cheer Yoriko up but better late than never, right?
Also, the three boys that gave Yoriko a hard time have come to apologize for their earlier behavior & to thank Yoriko for saving their friend...Who's now in love with Yoriko! He won't work but on the other hand, their homeroom teacher Mikami...Well...;)

Next time-Episode 10, "A Sudden Outbreak of Robots"

-A couple of robotics scientists have come to Bokuto Station to demonstrate some new ideas for using robots in rescue operations...And they want Miyuki & Natsumi to help!

-No Aoi, I don't think that they'll be using Transformers or Valkyries (SDF Macross) but it would be cool if they did, right?

-Here's what they will be using: Miyuki will be using the scientists' rescue robot HAL K-2 (With her experience with the NRIPS' Macias T-5 in the second season 2-parter "Big Panic on the Bokuto Line!" this should be no problem for her) while Natsumi will be using a powered exosuit, the Fitter R-1 (Which she REALLY needs practice on-Relax, Natsumi!). And no Ken, the HAL K-2 is not a patrol Labor! ;)

-Don't worry Natsumi, the Chief will recover...Just make sure you're ready on the day of the demonstration, OK? And above all, RELAX!

-Natsumi's getting the hang of it with the Fitter R1 but elsewhere...The Skull Zero? Who does this guy think he is, Dr. Hell or somebody?

-The day of the rescue technology show is here & some of the gear looks pretty cool-Do your best, Miyuki & Natsumi!

-Uh oh, the HAL's control box is being jammed...But by whom? "Doctor Soo"? His real name is Taro Suzuki, a former employee of our two scientists who apparently has been watching too many super robot shows! :sdsmiley:

-Natsumi vs Skull Zero-FIGHT! Suzuki had no idea of what he was in for, did he? Even the robot dog & the guards in lockup after his arrest have no respect for him either! ;)


Next time-The "White Hawk of Bokuto" gets the spotlight in Episode 11, "To the Most Important Person in the World"

-"The 99th Love Letter"? Oh, it's a Korean TV romance drama-Natsumi's more into samurai shows but you might be surprised at some folks who do get into that kind of stuff...Ken?! Who knew?
It does give him an idea for finally telling Miyuki his feelings for her-A love letter!

-Ken, she'll love it...Nice job! Now to give it to her...Wha? Kobayakawa! Now's your chance, Ken-Go for it!
Oh well...Timing is important, isn't it? The day is still young though...

-Later on...There's Kobayakawa talking with Yoriko, Aoi & a couple of other female officers (The offers that Aoi gets are amazing, aren't they? ;))! Here I go...Tsujimoto?? Me stalking Miyuki? Of course not! :sweat:

-In the stairwell...Don't daydream about it, Ken! Uh, Kobayakawa...Samejima fell off his bike again? He'll be OK...Oh! "Tactless People"-That's cold even for Ken, Miyuki!

-Since I get nervous with her I'll just put the letter on her desk where she can find it...Argh, Yoriko & Aoi!
OK, I'll try again in person...My VMAX? It's running fine...

-Good grief Ken, is it really that hard to give Miyuki the love letter? Oh no, it blew away onto that paper collection truck...I have to get it back!

-There's the truck...A speeder? Now, of all times? Argh!
"Like the wind", huh? Don't mess with the "White Hawk of Bokuto"! Just don't do it again, OK?

-The truck's got a number of other things besides the letter: Old newspapers, manga, magazines...And now a small fire caused by sparks from a utility pole! Yoriko & Aoi get the call but Ken speeds off in pursuit (As do Miyuki & Natsumi who have been listening in)...

-There's the truck but the fire in the back is worse now...Ken??
A pretty rash move by Miyuki takes care of the fire-And Ken finds the letter!

-Okay, Ken...This time for sure! Nice puppy there, Yoriko-HEY!


Next time-Episode 12, "Finally A Reality! A Dream Match!"

Since MLB's Spring Training is now under way, how about a baseball episode?

-You called it, Detective Sugihara...Detective Tokuno & the Chief are indeed playing another game which the Chief has lost yet again for the 30th straight time! The high school baseball team that the others have been watching on Yoriko's laptop had much better luck-They move on in the playoffs!

-This can't go on, Chief! OK then-We'll settle this with a baseball game:Traffic vs Investigations!
First, know your adversary & from the looks of Investigations' team the only person in Traffic who could match them is Natsumi-But we've got teamwork on our side! Let's do our best!

-On patrol now...How are things with you & Ken, Miyuki? Don't be modest! Hey, it's Maho, Shou & Yuuta! Are you all coming to the baseball game this Sunday?

-It's game day & the Investigations guys look serious about this...But with Ken catching, Miyuki at 3rd base, Yoriko at shortstop, Aoi at 1st base & Natsumi pitching how can we lose? Play ball!

-Natsumi doesn't have the "Lightning Ball" (Princess Nine) or the "Flutterball" (Taisho Baseball Girls) but her fastball is good enough to strike out the first batter. As for the Chief & Detective Tokuno...They're at it again behind the bleachers with another game...

-Nice stop, Miyuki! A play at the plate-Heads up, Ken!
Oh well...Make up for it at the plate, OK?

-Now we know why Yoriko told the kids about the game...No one escapes her intel network! ;)
And Traffic takes a 2-1 lead after 1 inning!

-Ghosts? That's why you called Miyuki & Natsumi to help at this factory? A Ringu-like urban legend doesn't seem likely here...But let's all of us go in & check it out!

-Nothing unusual so far...Yoriko & Aoi, take it easy! It's just a mannequin & some other junk! Still, where's that sound coming from? Over there...Wha?

-It's amazing how fast rumors spread & grow at Bokuto Station, isn't it? And no Ken, Miyuki's still out on patrol with Natsumi & she's not in danger!

-Back to the factory after work (This time with flashlights & night-vision goggles)...See, there's logical explanations for the washing machine, the "voices" & "steps" that we heard & the "ghost" that we saw!
Say, it looks like there's more junk here now than when we were here earlier today....That tiger skin! That second-hand shop's been dumping their unwanted stuff here!

-Since we won't learn anything from the victim until she regains consciousness, maybe we can find some clues here...Oh, it's the woman's dog (A sheltie)! He seems to like you, Natsumi...Could he have had a confrontation with the perp that's responsible for this?

-"Chibi", eh? He seems to like the name...Has he found something? Oh, just a place for a pee-break...:sweat:
Meanwhile, Detectives Tokuno & Sugihara answer a call on a robbery at a post office-The perps didn't even try to hide their faces & got away in a white sedan...

-Some of the costumes for the parade look pretty good...Zombies, mascots, anime & manga characters, sentai heroes, even Elvis! BTW guys, meet Chibi!

-A strange car blocking that road? Let's check it out...A white sedan! Hmm, the keys are still in the ignition, a plate check shows it as being stolen & that dent on the front bumper...Detective Tokuno? You were looking for this car too?

-The robbery was only an hour ago so the robbers may still be in the area...They deliberately showed their faces as they committed the robbery & then ditched the car so how...The costume parade! But how can we find these perps with 2,000 people taking part in it?

-You might as well let Miyuki, Natsumi & Chibi help out, Tokuno...Things always end up like this, don't they?
But with Chibi's help this case may be wrapped up a lot sooner! ;)

-No folks, Miyuki & Natsumi are not cosplayers! Oh nice, Chibi found another sheltie in the parade but wait-The perps (A pig, a kappa & a monkey king)! Busted!

-Chibi's name is actually "Ken"? Come to think of it, he's kinda like Nakajima isn't he? :P

-Looks like film director Bamba "Great" Hiroaki & his crew are following the Bokuto traffic cops for the day & shooting footage of them doing their jobs ala COPS for a documentary...Not too interesting so far, eh guys?

-Out with Miyuki & Natsumi on a quiet patrol...A speeder! And Ken's after him-Let's go!
No big chase with the speeder obeying Ken's instructions-BTW, not everyone likes being on camera & especially while getting cited for speeding!

-Miyuki & Natsumi have to head back to the station so now it's Aoi & Yoriko's turn with the film crew...Aoi's "True beauty" really does shine though on camera, doesn't it?

-Boring, eh? What exactly were you expecting to see from them, Bamba? Time to create a little "Truth" to spice things up...

-A cool pose by Miyuki & Natsumi for the final shoot...OK, look slowly up...That rooftop! A jumper?

-A bomb threat (Set to go off at noon) at the Bokuto Exciting Stage event? Traffic's been tasked to patrol the event & since there will be kids there the Chief assigns Miyuki, Natsumi, Aoi & Yoriko to handle it...But dressed as mascots as not to scare the kids: A kitty kat (Natsumi), a chicken (Aoi), a monkey (Yoriko) & a mushroom (Miyuki)!

-Um Aoi & Yoriko, it might help if you weren't so conspicuous in looking for the bomb! Still, there's a little less than two hours before the bomb goes off so hurry up & find it! BTW, isn't Aoi supposed to be a chicken & not a duck?
Meanwhile, two little boys that Miyuki met earlier have a problem...Little Shuu lifted a toy car...

-Nothing so far...Wait, there's someone suspicious near those cars...Ken??? Well, as long as you're here...
Looks like our bomber spotted him too-Cover blown!

-It's Detective Tokuno! So the bomb threat is real, huh? And only 30 minutes left to find it!

-The "Spider", eh? Since he only targets high rise condos & apartments between noon & sunset I'll have my people concentrate on alleyways & buildings close to each other. You can count on Traffic's help with this, Detective Tokuno!

-Since Natsumi's at home with the cold, Kaneko's filling in for her with Miyuki as they try to get residents in the condos to help out with anything they might know about the "Spider". Speaking of Natsumi...

-Yoriko is psychic! Natsumi IS having a dream about food with the Chief as the matre'd!
First spirituality & now dreams...Is there anything that Aoi doesn't know about these things?

-One more floor & we're done here...On that rooftop! The "Spider"! Come on, Kaneko!
Meanwhile, Natsumi's having another dream involving illegally parked cars...And Strike Man! You're not getting away this time!

-Argh, he got away! If only Natsumi were here...But she's having another dream involving mountain climbing with the Chief & Strike Man! Where's Toukairin when you need him? ;)

-Now wide awake...Hopefully Miyuki will bring some food home from work...Hey you! What are you doing up there? You're not getting away!

How about this-The "Spider" has an inferiority complex! But even with the taser he's no match for Natsumi-Some sneeze, huh?

-Turns out the "Spider" was nothing more than a panty thief & thanks to the GPS tagged underwear (Thanks to Miyuki) that he snagged he's going to do some jail time. And Natsumi's over her cold...But Traffic is another story though (The "Spider" too!)...;)

-It's a day off & a trip to the beach for Miyuki, Natsumi, Aoi & Yoriko! Once there it's time to meet up with an old friend: Saori, who's now at Jouhoku Police Station (Cybercrime Prevention Unit) & a little miffed at Miyuki-senpai & Natsumi-senpai for not calling her after they returned to Bokuto Station. Still, it's good to see her again!

-Don't just imagine it, Ken! At the very least, wait until you get there rather than imagining it all out loud for the kid in the car, OK?

-100 practice swings a day, Saori? I don't think you'll have to worry about facing Strike Man where you are though. BTW, all of the girls look great in their swimsuits but-You guessed it-Aoi outshines them all (Again)! ;)

-Time for lunch...Aoi prefers being with men over cars? Okaaay...Meanwhile, Yoriko's got a sure-fire plan for hooking up with guys-Wow Saori, why do you think she came to the beach in the first place? She's still as gung-ho as ever, even bringing her laptop with her! Come to think of it, Saori & Twilight Sparkle would get along great, wouldn't they? :P

-Oh, it's the restaurant manager...You say that someone's been posting pictures of young women here at the beach on the internet without their consent? Don't worry, sir-We'll nail this guy!

-As always, Aoi makes a great decoy & Miyuki...Well...:nosebleed:
Meanwhile, Saori & Yoriko have found the website with the offending pictures & yes, they include images of our favorite cops-The perp is definitely at this beach and those two boys in the pictures...Lookouts?

-100,000 yen for the pictures? Not if Saori has anything to say about it-She HAS been working out, hasn't she? Uh oh, they're on bikes-After them (On roller blades)!

-Uh guys, don't look now but...Kirishima Park? You might lose them there...Or not! You're Under Arrest!

-It's a nice, peaceful morning at Bokuto Station...But not for long, thanks to an argument between Miyuki & Natsumi about a report that Natsumi was supposed to write the night before. I could be wrong but haven't we seen this scenario before? And Miyuki's still scary when she's pissed off, eh Ken?

-The day before...Matching chopstick sets for Aoi & Yoriko? Nice!
On patrol now...A jumbo cup holder? I suppose it's OK...Uh oh, a purse snatcher! Time to go to work, Natsumi! That black mincar's turned into that tight alley...That cat! Look out! That was close-Miyuki, are you OK? Your hand...

-I'm really sorry about today, Miyuki...I'll write the report to make up for it, OK?
A good idea but it's even better if you do it before going drinking with Aoi & Yoriko, don't you think? And then Natsumi leaves Aoi & Yoriko with the bill! So she'll do things on her own from now on...We'll see how long that will last...

-Next day...Natsumi's late for work as usual (And chewed out by the Chief for the upteenth time)...Where's that report, Tsujimoto? YOU wrote it, Miyuki? This is where we came in...

-You know, Miyuki & Natsumi have been partners & friends for too long to let a little disagreement like this split them up...And it shows later while on patrol. ;) Say, "Today" doesn't seem to be running well today...Miyuki! Your hand!

-A quick stop at a convenience store...The black minicar! Miyuki, wait for me!
After catching up with her at a construction site...They're not "Bokuto's Best Partners" for nothing, you know! ;)

-You're right, Chief...This is how things should be & besides, it's worth it despite their recklessness sometimes don't you think? ;)

-A high school girl about to be late for school...Wait for the light before you cross! Oh no...

-What's up, Ken...Why are you so down? Oh, so Miyuki's away in Okinawa attending a high school classmate's wedding, eh? No use in asking Natsumi since she doesn't know where her partner's staying either & besides, she's having problems of her own at home (AC's out, water's stopped up)-These two are hopeless without Miyuki around, aren't they? :sdsmiley:

-On patrol now...Since Miyuki is away, Natsumi has Yoriko as her partner for the next couple of days or so...Didn't a high school girl die at this intersection some time ago? She was hit by a truck while crossing against a red light...If she had only waited a few more seconds...

-After work...Here's that same intersection...Wait a second! What's in that tree-A diary? It must have belonged to that girl...A first year at East High, an all-girls school...She met a boy from West High (Sudoh, a third year) on the next train...She likes him & after a long while decided to tell him her feelings for him...The diary ends the day before the accident so did she ever tell him?

-A check with Lost & Found at work shows no one asked about a pink diary from July 19 (The day of the accident) onwards...A little more digging by Natsumi soon finds info about the girl...That's it! I'm going to find this Sudoh kid & let him know what the girl wanted to tell him!

-Tracing the girl's commute might lead Natsumi to Sudoh...There his is & what do you know-He has feelings for the girl too! In the end...Well, knowing this about him is enough, don't you think Natsumi? Anyhow...Yoriko??? Why are you here???

-For once, Yoriko's intel was wrong about Natsumi! Natsumi ended up turning the diary in to Lost & Found...You saw the girl's ghost across the street, Yoriko? Sure sure ;)...Miyuki will be back tomorrow...I think I'll surprise her...:)


Next time-Episode 21, "Vigilante Racer, Part 1"

-A lot of complaints being phoned in to the Traffic Section concerning joyriders harassing innocent folks on weekends...Can anything be done about them?

-A request from Miyuki & Natsumi to the Chief: Place us on night duty so that we can catch these perps!
Ken, what do you think about Miyuki wanting to put herself on the line like this? Tell her how you feel about it!
Why do we even bother...

-You're right, Miyuki...If you act against the joyriders based on emotion alone then you're no better than they are & the public will lose faith in the Traffic Section...Uh oh, the joyriders have been spotted near the train station: Let's go, Natsumi!

-Ken & Samejima are in pursuit but now a 4th car (A red sedan) passes them & overtakes the joyriders...Smoke? Samejima, are you OK? He's fine-But the joyriders are hung out to dry! That red car-Did the driver do this?

-This "Red Phantom" is starting to become a bit of a cult hero online & in the media but the Chief & the others have it right: The "Red Phantom" is also breaking the law & has to be stopped.Do your jobs & remain calm...We'll get this guy...

...Unless the joyriders' friends get him first as revenge! But they don't know who they're dealing with...
Ken's on his tail & chasing him to the set roadblock. Wait a minute-This guy knows Ken? How?

-So much for the roadblock...He's headed for the industrial district! Stay with him, Ken-Miyuki & Natsumi are on the way as backup (But without permission from the Chief)!

-Blast that smoke! He got away...KEN!!!

-Fortunately, Ken came out of it with only a broken arm but the driver of that red car is still at large...Aoi may have something though: Could the driver of the red car have a grudge against joyriders?

-Miyuki, you're right on all counts concerning this but as the Chief says, this is now also a matter for Headquarters...Hang on to those feelings...You'll need them when the time comes...

-Some late paperwork before calling it a night...Natsumi, you go on ahead....Miyuki, we all know how determined you are to catch this guy but-A letter of resignation??


Next time-The conclusion, Episode 22: "Vigilante Racer, Part 2"

-Ah, so Natsumi caught a look at Miyuki's letter of resignation...I do think she's right though: Miyuki's so determined to catch these joyriders & the "Red Phantom" that she's willing to risk her job as a police officer to do so. Ken & Aoi have the same idea too...This "Red Phantom" may have a grudge against jaywalkers...

...But they don't know how right they are: This "Red Phantom" does indeed have a grudge against joyriders (One of them was responsible for his wife's death) but that doesn't mean that he can take the law into his own hands!

-My arm, Kobayakawa? It's not your fault...But don't quit, OK? We'll get this guy...Just be patient...
Meanwhile, the Chief has an important visitor...Chief Inspector Arizuka!

-Dinner with Miyuki? For pete's sake Ken, go for it! Oh, it's Daimaru & Sena Nakajima-It's been too long since we've seen them! Let's all eat out together then (BTW, I like the choice of the song being played in the background at the restaurant: The second Season 1 OP song, "Love Somebody" :))...So Daimaru heard about the "Red Phantom" & he's not too happy about either...Let him know if you need his help...

-Ken...NO!! Oh, it's only a dream...But I'm almost finished with my plan to catch the "Red Phantom" & since the Chief has forbidden me to do anything outside of my regular duties...This perp has to be stopped, one way or another!

-Sena's a wonderful stepmom, isn't she? So you guys can't do anything about this guy without permission, eh...But that doesn't mean Daimaru & his biker buddies can't! ;)
Meanwhile, the Chief shows Inspector Arizuka how much faith he has in his officers to bring the "Red Phantom" in...

-Daimaru & His buddies have lured the "Red Phantom" out? I can't wait for Natsumi-I'm going!
But Natsumi's not too far behind with Ken on his bike-We're coming, Miyuki!

-Miyuki in "Today" quickly catches up with Daimaru & the "Phantom" (Who doesn't know the open roads as well as Miyuki & Daimaru do)...That truck...Look out!
End of the line, pal...Oh no, both cars are going over the side...MIYUKI!!!!
She's alright, Tsujimoto...I KNOW she is & I'm going after her!

-The perp has a broken leg but Miuyki sets a splint on it & then goes for help...No cell signal here & it's started to rain...My ankle...Nakajima...A marriage proposal?? A dream...Or is it?
Either way...Yes!

-Seems Ken knows this guy (Now in custody & headed to the hospital along with Moyuki) after all...Looks like both Miyuki & "Today" will be on the mend for awhile but take your time in getting well, Miyuki...Ken's back on duty today & he'll be waiting for you...;)

We've already had Aoi & Yoriko spotlighted in separate episodes earlier in the season so for the season finale, it's all about both! Let's roll! :)

-Another successful collar by Miyuki & Natsumi...The number of perps that they've put behind bars is impressive, isn't it? They're not called "Bokuto Station's Super Duo" (Or "Bokuto's Best Partners" as I like to call them ;)) for nothing...Why don't we become a "Super Duo" ourselves, Aoi? Let's power up!

But can Aoi & Yoriko become as "super" as Miyuki & Natsumi? Well...We'll learn their secrets first!

-A major pileup at an intersection near the Expressway exit? We're on it-Let's go, Natsumi!
Now's our chance, Aoi! First, Natsumi's desk (Which is just as neat & orderly as her locker & her room at the apartment-Not!) then Miyuki's desk...Could Natsumi's love of fitness & Miyuki's care of "Today" be their secrets?

-Um, Aoi...What you did for Car 3 is cute I don't think that's the kind of "love" that Miyuki puts into "Today"...New equipment, too?

-Uh oh, a bike thief! He won't get away though with Yoriko pursuing him on the "New equipment" (Which isn't exactly the Motocompo...It MIGHT work...)...Or will he?
Later on, a speeder & part 2 of the new equipment...It's not exactly "Nitro on", is it?
Fortunately, other traffic cops caught the speeder & the bike thief...But the Chief's not happy with how Aoi & Yoriko handled them both!

-There's that new cafe, Aoi! Oh Granny, do you need some help? Come on-We'll give you a lift!
But then Aoi notices "Grandma's" watch...And the "Bunny Hop" wallet that "she" nearly forgot when they let "her" off...And now a call from the station about a 70ish female pickpocket! "She" couldn't have gotten far-We've got to catch "her"!

-In this shrine, perhaps? Wait a second...That man..That watch! He's the pickpocket! After him!
This guy's outrunning Aoi & Yoriko...But they're about to get an assist...;)

-So the pickpocket was also a master of disguise? Way to go, Aoi & Yoriko!

-Meet Kaori Takano & Sakura Fujieda, the Traffic Section's newest recruits who will now be under the tutelage of Miyuki & Natsumi for their training. Yes you, Natsumi (But maybe they'd like to wait a while before trying the "Bokuto Special Lunch Set" though :sweat:)! The view of the city from the station's roof always helps to refresh to tackle the rest of the day, doesn't it?

-On Miyuki's desk...A letter from Randy Hammond! He's still staying with his grandfather & both are getting on well with each other, a good thing to be sure. An article for the station's internal newsletter, Yoriko? Hmm...

-On patrol now...Oh, that's my Motocompo. I use it to chase down suspects in places where "Today" can't go...Oh, it's Maho, Yuuta & Shou! Meet our new officers!

-A sense of community, Kaori? You & Sakura will get there but this is only your first day though...Uh oh.
Dude, what do you think they're doing? You parked illegally & they're citing you for it so don't mess with them (Especially if you want to stay in Ms. Tsujimoto's good graces ;))!

-A break for a soda also includes Miyuki & Natsumi telling Kaori & Sakura how they first met (A little different from the version in season 2 & in the very first episode "And So They Met" but the basic story is still the same)...It's Scooter Mama in another hurry to a sale! Let's teach her a lesson, shall we? Natsumi's after her on her Motocompo-Hold tight, girls!
