Is the anime pet shop of horror any good? (any others i should watch?)

Yes, it is very good. Each episode is a stand alone, so it comes off as an anthology style series (similar to Tales from the Crypt). However it is short with only four episodes.

As for suggesting any others, if you are looking for horror themed shows, I would go with:

Hell Girl
Ghost Hunt
Requiem From The Darkness
Ghost Stories (subbed version)
When They Cry (if you can find it)

to name a few.
