Three OVA episodes are coming, bundled with each of the three versions of the new PSP games. Hooray more Idolmaster! But boo for releasing them in a format i can't realistically buy (even I'll draw the line at importing three different games at presumably $100+ a pop for 1 episode each, considering I don't own a PSP).

I still want season two, damnit.

The big question now is format. Will the OVA be released on a DVD, BD or UMD. As long as it's not an UMD, I'll definitely pick up the presumed bundles.

I think Bamco should have gone with PS3 and used the hybrid disc format instead of PSP. Oh well.

The trailer at the end only lists two prices for the games; 5980 yen for the physical copy and 5300 yen for downloading it. Unless Bamco decided after the trailer was shown to bundle the OVAs and add another SKU, 5980 yen for game and OVA is pretty damn good price.

Honestly, I rather suspect them to include the OAVs on the actual game UMDs as opposed to on a separate disk - with the Vita being a thing, it'd mean they wouldn't be screwing digital-only purchasers out of the video content.

Which means that we'll probably not get these OAVs at a decent resolution at any point. Boo.
