SENTAI FILMWORKS LICENSES
“SO, I CAN’T PLAY H!”

HOUSTON, July 1, 2012 — The best things in life are dirty and Sentai Filmworks’ latest acquisition, So, I Can’t Play H!, is out to prove it. Based on the light novels by Pan Tachibana, So, I Can’t Play H! is directed by Takeo Takahashi (Rozen Maiden, Spice and Wolf) with series composition by Naruhisa Arakawa (Listen to Me, Girls. I am Your Father!, Upotte!!), character designs by Kanetoshi Kamimoto (Burst Angel, Taisho Baseball Girls) and music by Cher Watanabe (Prince of Tennis II).

NEVER make a deal with a wet goddess you’ve only just met. That’s a lesson Ryosuke Kaga learns the hard way when he foolishly agrees to let Lisara Restole use some of his “essence” to stay in this world. Because despite her smoking hot appearance, Lisara’s actually a Shinigami, a Goddess of Death. However, she DOESN’T steal years off his life like any decent Shinigami would do. Oh no, instead she sucks him dry of something much more perverse by leeching off his lecherous spirit and draining his ability to enjoy… er… the things that teenage boys normally spend most of their time thinking about! And now that he’s been de-debased and de-debauched by her un-dirty trick, the poor regenerated degenerate’s only hope of getting his licentiousness renewed is to join the queen of mental-clean on her quest, since when she leaves our mortal plane he regains his normal immorality! But the termination of the probation of his reprobation isn’t guaranteed, because Goddesses of Death can be really harsh mistresses and it’s going to be anything but easy to go back to being sleazy in So, I Can’t Play H!

So, I Can’t Play H! will be available soon through select digital outlets with a home video release to follow next year.

It was said a few times that Demon King Daimao was never intended to have a dub, so If you want this to get a dub watch it on Crunchyroll! (http://www.crunchyroll.com/so-i-cant-play-h) Other anime just like this is Funimations's High School DXD

Episode 1 is now live on Crunchyroll (http://www.crunchyroll.com/so-i-cant-play-h/episode-1-606559) for everyone.

This anime looks like it would be awesome even without the fan-service.

So, it's the edited version... Oh well, I guess I'll have to wait and wish for the blu-ray.

The only way to get a blu-ray release is if it gets dubbed, and thats if it gets a lot people to watch it on Crunchyroll. Thats why I have been posting about it!

What I intend to do (and forgot to mention) is that I will play each episode, but won't watch it. That way, I will wait for the unedited version before watching it and do my part for a Blu-ray.

Finally, I had to drop the show because of a lack of interest. I will not buy it, but I hope Sentai will get in consideration that the version on CR is heavily censored and that may affect the numbers.

Are you guys watching the free stream or are you CR members?

Only because I am a member, and it's boobs everywhere on this show, so I'm not noticing any other censoring...?
Then again I watch both the stream and... other option... on some of these shows, so I may just be forgetting.

EDIT: Nevermind, i am just dumb. It's the 'other option' i'm thinking of.

That said, edits or no, I like the show a good amount. At first glance, it seems mediocre, but a few point have intrigued me, so I look forward to where they go with it.

Most of us are members. In any case, I checked this show out, and it pretty much seems like it is out there for fanservice and the concept feels overused. At least Quele is hot, but other than that, it is a show that I could easily write off as being one without much substance to it.

I'm a member as well. For me, it is the male lead that make me stop watching. The rest, imo, is not good enough to forget about him and keep watching.

"Late production schedule" delays episodes 8-12; compilation episode to run next week

The premium television channel AT-X announced (http://www.at-x.com/whats_new/detail/2751) on Friday that the eighth episode of the So, I Can't Play H! (Dakara Boku wa, H ga Dekinai.) anime has been delayed due to its "late production schedule." The official website for the anime also confirmed (http://boku-h.com/onair/index.html) the news.

Instead of running the eighth episode twice on Friday, August 24, AT-X will run a compilation episode. AT-X will premiere the eighth episode on Tuesday, August 28, followed by reruns on Friday, August 31. Future episodes will premiere on Tuesdays, instead of on Fridays as before.

The other channels that run the anime will delay episodes 8 through 12 by one week...
