Well this is weird. I guess not as weird as it could be because the novels are still ongoing. And the first season sold 5.3k.
...But still, weird.
Supposedly there's an OVA that provides a different ending. The ending to the first season was an anime original clusterfuck, so I guess the OVA retcons it. Or something. Or not. I'm too lazy to research it.

More gratutious Kanetsugu abuse! (Seriously, I hope they tone that down; punching bags are entertaining only when they are unlikeable).
(The alternative ending was simply an epilogue, in the form of a few still shots, that made the show open to a sequel).
Now, if I could get a second season to Ladies vs. Butlers....

I liked the ending...but a second season is awesome. This shows needs a second season.

I'd be down for that, provided it began with the male lead and his token perverted male friend being beaten to death with clubs. With that out of the way it could be a pretty awesome show. Neeeed more Pina!

Depending on how busy the season it airs in is, I might need to go finish the show (maybe swap out the TV end for the OVA). What I saw was one of the more fun cheesecake-fighting shows of recent years that I just never got around to finishing.

I'll probably still give this a try just in case it gets better, but man what I wouldn't give for a third season of Sekirei instead. That's definitely one of the best "cheesecake-fighting" shows.

Well, I will probably try it, but it won't be a priority.

I would like to see that as well. Did the 2nd season sold good enough?

Borderline. First season averaged 7,498 and Pure Engagement averaged 5,855.
This is good news. I liked the first season (except for the crappy rushed ending) and found the inkblot animation style quite interesting and original. I want to see what they can do with the story now that the whole "kiss = power up" bit is known about.
