I'm guessing this came at the end of the last episode? I still need to catch up. I also assume this was planned from the beginning, so basically it's split cour.

Well, I still have to catch up as well and this is some good news since it means more of Komatsu Mikako & Neko!

Yeah, this sounds similar to Asura Cryin'. I assume they were waiting to see if the sales were enough to justify continuing. Haven't watched the final episode either, but the plot is coming together surprisingly well. With GoHands busy, guess we won't get more Seitokai Yakuindomo other than the OVAs...
