They did dub the Miyuki episode, correct? I was disappointed that it wasn't/couldn't be done for "Episode 0".

Yes, it's dubbed. The credits are left in Japanese and no bilingual credits follow it.

Watched my copy. The disk is well done. Video looked great, although I don't have the best system for judging that sort of thing. I appreciated that they dubbed the mini episode this time around.
As far as the content goes, I really enjoyed it. It's got the great character interaction that make Ai Yori Aoshi such an enjoyable series for me. I think Paul Grisham said it best: Ai Yori Aoshi is a show about people who fundamentally like each other, rather than fundamentally liking to abuse each other.
One thing I noticed, in the trailers section, they only had three: Ikkitousen, Dokkoida?! and R.O.D. the TV. There was a menu this time to select the trailer, rather than just starting from the beginning. There is also a "view all" option. Don't know if Geneon has started doing this on all their releases - if so, it's the first time I've seen it.

They also did it on the Mahoromatic Summer Special disc. I sort of liked the old way because it was always a fun surprise to see what trailers were included. /images/graemlins/wink.gif
Does anyone have a picture of the figures that come with the LE editions?

a pretty fair, if not slightly generous score, for this title. i think when the series concludes it will end up being a B series.
i do disagree with the comments on the extra 'bonus' ep. as a one-off bonus i view it no differently then end of credit omake viginettes.

Still waiting for me copy to ship /images/graemlins/cry00000.gif. I've been rewatching season 1 to gear me up again to continue season 2, heh. So far up to the 4th disc.

Oh well, looks like I have to wait some more time before I get this shipped to me.
Would you mind checking your copy? About 38:53 in the dub (episode 2 when Mayu arrives in her car).
The lines "this is your car" and "what's wrong with you". (italics for where the audio seems to go funky during the line). I'm trying to figure out if it's just what I have here or if the line maxed out too much during recording. The first line (through the tv speakers) actually went from left channel to right channel with a slight ring to it from the actress' pitch while it happened. /images/graemlins/depresse.gif /images/graemlins/relief1.gif

Actually, I spotted a great deal more going back through the DVD. Including constant issues during the final episode. Like at 1:23:00 and many times afterwards (poor Miyabi's charge is ruined from this problem /images/graemlins/cry00000.gif). Too often it will bleed into a mix of the screaming & static. /images/graemlins/sad.gif

I noticed that particularly in Miyabi's charge.

I'd really like to get the LE figure and box...

Well, the brief flashback of scenes and a comment or two may not seem completely clear, but it's not essential to have seen the last dvd yet to start on Enishi.

If I were you, I would beg, borrow or steal a copy of AYA Vol. 5 before making the jump to Enishi /images/graemlins/sdsmiley.gif. Why deprive yourself of AYA goodness??? Besides, Vol. 5 (With All My Heart) is a captivating story and provides an excellent lead-in for Enishi Vol. 1.

Just received mine from RightStuf today, and I must say.. that's one of the best boxes I've ever seen. Sturdy, great images and design, all around greatness. The Aoi figure is pretty nice too, but it'll stay in the plastic wrapping till I get the other four. /images/graemlins/sdsmiley.gif

one thing that creeps me out about the figures is that they don't have any feet - I know the feet are supposed to be in the water, but it looks weird. Might need to make a painted base for the set so it looks ok.

I just got this today.
The box was very kewl. Very sturdy and pretty. Great display-piece.
The LE-figure was totally meh. What's up with the chopped feet? /images/graemlins/anger100.gif
I've yet to listen to it in the english-dub, but I know season-1's dubs sucked eggs so I'm not expecting much from Enishi.

As was expected, the main english-dub girl-casts were still flat and lifeless with their vocalizations.
The only thing that cheered me up with the dubs were Chika's buddies, Natsuki and Chizuro. Their english-vocals were actually good and better than the main girls. Just proving once again that the Mahoromatic-vocals were still superior than AYA's even if just guest-voicing.

Just got my copy today and for the most part, I really enjoyed it. I found the story somewhat more lacking than in the first series. So far, there's doesn't seem to be any particular goal driving the character's forward at this point. Every episode had a sort-of "day in the life" kind of feel. Still, likable cast, plenty of fanservice, and a pair of sweet romantic leads make the show still something I look forward to. As for the audio problems, on my set-up I can kind of hear a channel switch/dropout during the scene with Mayu and Chika's friend, but nowhere else and it's nothing I would have noticed if somebody hadn't pointed it out.

Nahh this first disc seems almost like you can stick the episodes anywhere after chika visits the mansion and it would work with no problems. But it's such a fun show and Aoi in nothing but an apron /images/graemlins/noseblef.gif
I finally got to see this and I have to say I like it a lot. It reminded me of why I liked to watch Ai Yori Aoshi so much before. Chika is fun, but I still like Miyabi the best.
I just saw it yesterday. It's fluff, but it's the prettiest fluff I've ever seen, and Chika-chan is the coolest! /images/graemlins/sdsmiley.gif

I just watched this disk last night and Miyabi is still the best! But I must say that the ferret is fast becoming my favorite animal character in any series. And is fact better than a large number of human characters I can name in some series.
The special was worth the price of the disk alone. Santa is way hot! /images/graemlins/devil.gif /images/graemlins/noseblee.gif I loved seeing yet another side of the wonderous Miyabi.
I think that my favorite scene of the disk was Tina's little conversation with Chika after Chika found the photo of Tina & a certain someone. Tina rules.

I didn't notice anything untoward with the audio when i watched this through, but i probably wasn't in a frame of mind to notice this. Like a reunion, it was great to be re-acquainted with this family of characters.
Was it just me, or did Chika steal CCS's "ho-weh"? I haven't listened to the japanese track yet, but it stood out for me in the english one. Chika's cute enough as she is; she doesn't need artificial sweetener.

In the tennis episode, didn't Tina's serve somewhat remind you of an episode of Azumanga Daioh by anychance?
And a comment on the episode after that, the little ghost-solving mystery seemed more compelling than a Scooby-Doo episode.
