How is it different from the regular Robotech? What was added back in? Does it change the story? How does it look compared to the Macross and Southern Cross DVDs?

The only item that I could tell that was added back in would be the Minmei shower scene. As for the video, Harmony Gold used the restored Macross footage used for the AnimEigo DVDs; so, there is no difference there.
The Southern Cross scenes looked on par with the Souther Cross set I reviewed previously. The scenes were few and brief, but they did look like they might have been cleaned up a bit. I didn't see any dust, scratches, or print damage, but again, the scenes were brief.
EDIT: Vicserr's post reminded me that I did not mention the new audio. Harmony Gold created a new 5.1 mix for the series. Voices/dialogue are the same, but the sound effects are punched up considerably.

Another great release to end this saga. I loved every minute of it. Now I'm working on the SDF Macross series, and I think I'm loving it even more. /images/graemlins/catgirl0.gif

Basically any thing that couldn't get past the censors back in 1986 (or whenever it was first on TV). You know, some close ups of Minmei butt, the shower scene, some scenes of people dying, and anything else that was recorded by the actors that wasn't used.

Sorry, but I wasn't asking about what Robotech is, or what Robotech Remastered is, or what's in Robotech Remastered vol. 1. I thought it wouldn't be too much to ask for details about volume 3, besides what we all know from the last 20 years.
