Positive. This is a film noir type story - Japanese style.

The manga of DoM is grittier (helped by being b & w). Be cool to have it licensed.
I am pre-ordering the animé.

(Author also wrote an even better manga called "Shooting Stars in the Twilight" IIRC.)

I like this OVA. It's unfortunate that it's one of the hundreds of one-shot OVAs based off manga, in this case the wonderful "Hello Hedgehog" which ran in Young Magazine and was compiled into 24 volumes.

Oh, and you all must worship it since Nakahara Shigeru (Trowa Barton in Gundam Wing, #17 in Dragonball Z) voices Nanase, the lead character. ^_^

Are there more episodes of this? Since it's an older CPM license I wasn't sure if it was a renamed title and a search on the authors name from google didn't reveal anything useful. I figured it was part of a larger manga series but couldn't pin it down.

My Manga Max (July 99) says DoM is the only animé US licensed based on Hirokane Kenshi's work.

(Shooting Stars in the Twilight would be great to license as a mature title alongside "Eagle" and "First President of Japan".
Its a little like "Presumed Innocent" movie in some ways, but better.)

Hi. Domain of Murder is the only episode (hence I wrote "one-shot OVA") adapted from this manga series. CPM's English isn't quite a rename. Domain of Murder would be the subtitle for the full title of the OVA.

I'd guess that in the early 90s, "Hello Hedgehog" wouldn't push as many videos as "Domain of Murder". :D
