I am really not sure if this is the correct forum for this but I'll give it a shot.
Here's my question:
Is this (http://home.earthlink.net/~info_lovely/images/irasshoimase.jpg) sign written correctly? I'm pretty sure it's supposed to be written "irasshaimase" (instead of irasshoimase). Is this phrase even ussually written on signs (I'm used to seeing Youkouso)? I only know a few phrases in Japanese though, so my suspicions could be completely wrong ^^;.
For some background... My suspicion that this phrase is written incorrectly is because I think that was the intent. This screenshot comes from an episode of Shaman King where our group of hero's go to a "tradition Japanese Hot Spring" .... in America /images/graemlins/sdsmiley.gif . The joke being the way the resort is run, for example, the "traditional" Japanese hostesses wearing Chinese dresses ^^; .
Anyhoo, any help you people can give me will be appreciated ^_^ . Thanks in advance.
