Hi every one havent posted in a while. The other day I picked up gundam seed vol. 4 and 5. Four plays pretty good but five IM having a problem with. Ok when I got near the end of vol 5. On epsoide 25 the the showing befor the opening theme starts the ep. after the Opening it dosnt start at the beginging of the epsoide, I start like 4 or 7 minutes after what it starts. I remember watching on cartoon network. it starts at the part when the zaft gundams are im the middleing of attacking the archangle. Even the preveiw at the end of eps 24 shows the zaft kids launching then fight but like i said it skips the beginging. So i was wondering if this is just me if so could i just take it back to the store and get a new one to fix this problem. Or is it in the disc run.

It could be a PS2 death. My former PS2 gave me quite a few errors on discs that played fine in my PC.
Try playing your Vol. 5 on another player if you have one, or your computer if it has a DVD-ROM drive.

You may have a faulty disc then also. See if a freind can play the disc.

Then again, if it's an Ascent Media authored, disc, it could be the ol' S-Cry-Ed 4/.hack//lott problem again...

It's not, because if it was we will be seeing many more people complaining by now.

Aww yes the PS2. I kind of figured you were going to say that. I had the same problem with Princess Mononoke, when it got to chapter 17 it would skip about 5 minutes of the movie. What I did was I turned on the Dianosis feature. (First press the triangle button on the PS2's main menu and press the triangle button again [under the console serial number] and turn on the Dianosis.) When I did this it didn't skipped.

reposting from the closed thread...

I'm having the problem too but it's in ep 24, my player(ps2, dvd driver ver 2.1) doesn't want to play ep 24 and has a couple of sputters on ep 25

I'm playing it on my Samsung HT-DL200P and it's seems ok

ps: I've already tried the diagnostic mode, it plays the ep.... Badly! sputtering thruout the ep

Well at least it tried to play the episode. It's most likely an incompatibility issue with the 2.10 driver.

Has anybody gotten their replacement SEED vol 5 yet? I sent mine in because it was loose off of the hub & scratched all to hell, not realizing that it might be mixed up in the defective disc issue here....over a month later, and still no vol 5 back...bah!

there's the problem. The PS2 is a bad DVD player. Try it in a real DVD player.

I think he means he was using his PS2 because his standalone player wasn't loading it at all.
