Hi guys..i was wondering if anybody could help me out on a certain issue i have on my hands here...

I have the us version dvd of Demon Warrior Koji which I bought a few years back, and worked fine as I watched it on my pc with a pioneer 106s dvd drive and windows 98. Since then I've changed hardware a few times, and recently wanted to check DWK out again, except this time I'm running Windows XP with an Optorite DD0201 dvd burner.

The problem I have now is that I can't play the disc. Actually...Windows doesn't even recognize that there's a disc in the drive. This seems to be the only dvd out of my collection that this is happening to, and was wondering if maybe it was a known problem with the manufacturing of the disc or whatnot. The disc does, however, play just fine on my Playstation 2 machine, but I'd much rather watch dvd movies with my pc rather than the ps2.

Anybody got any ideas?

I had problems playing Koji on a Daewoo 5700, in which the menu's wouldn't really get recognized, but it's been fine on my Sanyo VCR/DVD-R combo and my Daewoo DVN-3100.

Also, the menu's on Anime 18's Magical Woman M disk wouldn't work on my old Daewoo, no matter what I tried, though it worked just fine on my PC. And I know I've been able to play Koji on my Lite-On drive with Power DVD. Wish I could help you any further, but mine seems to work most of the time.

hm...maybe i should try my old dvd drive in my pc again and see if that'll work..

Weird... maybe it's a problem with the current drive I have...
