In Summary:
Seraphim Call is an interesting show but one of those that you have to wonder how it managed to get approved and what the real goal of it was. Each of the stories is fairly well told with some better than others but otherwise it's an entirely forgettable show. Much like Sentimental Journey, it's interesting to watch and it has its moments but it's not something you run out recommending to people. With it having twelve episodes across two discs for the price of one regular release, it's definitely a bargain and not a bad way to spend some time if you're looking for something slightly different or just want to watch some slice of life stories that are slightly outside the normal.

For some reason, every episode (I still haven't watched the second disc yet) was overly depressing and left me feeling empty and sad at the end of each. Even with the "happy" endings /images/graemlins/sweat000.gif

I still haven't gotten around to watching Sentimental Journey. After I found out that one of the young girls in one of the episodes hooks up with some strange OLD guy it turned me off the show

edit: the opening theme song rocks though

I have to give this A. When taking into context together the series is pretty nice. Only thing is some episodes make me wish they had spawn off into their own series. Of course I have a feeling my rating may have bee na bit different if this was released as 3 or 4 volumes as some episodes are weaker than others. Either way Ayaka Rindouh is divine among the girls. *Wishes Bestbuy actually listed it.* Ah well maybe Suncoast will have i.t

Looking forward to watching this. I picked it up this past weekend for $20, so even if it turns out to be really bad I'm not out that much. Then again, I really like shows like this, so I doubt I'll be disappointed.

I really enjoyed this show and found each episode very uniquely executed. Seraphim Call seems to be like a piece of art which has a certain tinge of bittersweetness involved with each girl. A number of the girls' stories really hit home with me and I genuinely appreciate the amount the thought that evidently has gone into this show. I give it a A-.

Positive, with a B+. Since I hardly ever watch dubs, the fact that there were only subtitles wasn't an issue, especially since it made it so attractively priced. All the girls stories I found interesting, except for the comedy Earth defender one. A couple of the eps I found somewhat confusing, such as the PI one and the ones with the twins. In the end, it did make me wish there were more girls, so we could have more episodes and stories about them. I think I'll try Sentimental Journey if its similar to this.

I love the opening song to this show. I gave it a B. I picked it up for around $11 at Besy Buy awhile back and just got around to watching it.

I can say that I enjoy Sentimental Journey more but this show is pretty nice too. They're very similar in fact, as the way episode names are presented is exactly alike! I've only seen the first ten episodes thought but I have to say that I did not enjoy episode 1 of Seraphim Call at all! It was just. . .not that enjoyable. I also thought episode 4 was pretty bleh. The rest howeverare pretty good episodes imo.

I never really cared much for episode 4. I need to double check which episode is which. For certain my favorite character is Ayaka Rindoh. Her episode was the most fun.
