Spiral Vol. 3-- Shooting Fallen Stars issue-- DVD won't play on my Toshiba

DVD player used: Toshiba SD-3960
Purchased: Spiral Vol. 3-- Shooting Fallen Stars

This DVD won't load or play on my DVD player. I have tried 2 rental copies of this DVD from both GreenCine and AnimeForest, and I have also just purchased a new copy of this DVD from Best Buy this morning. In all cases, the DVD player would not play any copy of this volume.

My Toshiba is just about 1 year old, so it has no problems playing any other DVD player.

Does anyone have any other problems playing this volume on other DVD players, and if so, how can I get Funimation to replace my DVD with one that will play on the Toshiba?

I checked the Glitch DVD forum and found that no one mentioned this problem until now. This DVD was released in March.

I want to see Spiral, but I can't continue on with this series until this problem is fixed.

It's an incompatibility issue and Funimation won't replace it for that reason, since it works on other players. Just watch it on another DVD player.

Unless I hear otherwise on this thread, I am just going to assume that it is time for my Toshiba DVD player to go in to Best Buy for a maintenance check (I have a 2 year service plan on this.)-- I have not heard anyone else state a problem with this particular volume of Spiral on other DVD players, to my knowledge.

Hopefully, this volume of Spiral can be played on cheaper DVD players. Also, my Toshiba DVD player had no problems playing any other DVD's until this volume.
