Genshiken vol-2: am I the only one getting the Clerks vibe on the english-dub?

The english-version continues to be so awesome. Much, much better than the japanese-version. The dialogue-pacing was just great for this slow and deliberate anime. You get to absorb everything that they said and in how they delivered their lines.

Just eerily like watching the Kevin Smith's Clerks. It's like the spirit of Dante and Randal were in the vocal-performances of the english-cast of Genshiken. Carol's Saki-delivery is so Veronica+Caitlin.

Oh, yeah. Rachael Lillis is so Ohno. Everyone's great, but Rachael's Ohno was just the shiznit. Completely matching Ohno's character, physique, and mannerism.

Maybe she oughta dress up like Mahoro, just like Ohno did. I <3 her Mahoro-giggle. /images/graemlins/cool.gif

I don't know if I'm getting any Clerks vibe, but I freakin love this show. Its the only funny anime I'm collecting right now that makes me laugh out loud. Rachel Lillis' Ohno is a top contender for my next VAotM vote. Its sad how easily I could fit in with these people if they did in fact exist.
