Okay I feeling pretty good today and so I thought I would start a thread posting recommended sellers. I know most of you like to keep them guarded like they were national secrets but what the hell.

Okay I figure I personally would only recommend sellers of anime or manga that I have at least bought from twice and regularly sells on eBay.

Recommended Seller: evilrad
Feedback Score: 466
Positive Feedback: 99.8%
Shipping: United States only

Pros: This one seems to buy shows, watches them and sells them quickly. So the shows tend to be the latest volumes. He provides good oversized pictures and starts around $5 every auction. He will combine shipping if you can win mutiple auction and ships via priority mail.

Cons: His shipping starts a $4 so you really need to win at least two auctions. Very popular and he puts out a the latest stuff, so his auctions tend to shoot up quickly in bidding wars.

Overall: I've won about four of his auctions over the years and never dissappointed. Tends to have the special editions and boxes with his auctions for those looking. But is low volumes and the fact he sells the latest volumes make auctions wins far and few inbetween. Still evilrad is on my favorite sellers list.

Recommended Seller: chickensouplover
Feedback Score: 763
Positive Feedback: 100%
Shipping: United States, Canada, Europe, Australia

Pros: Sells manga in singles with reasonable starting prices. Always in very good condition and well packaged. Has mutliple auctions of books in series with each other, ie v1 v2, v3. Shipping is cheap starting at $2 a book and they combine shipping to make the deals even better.

Cons: Another low volume seller of I'm guessing their personal collection. Starting prices are around $3 or a little more for some books, which isn't that huge of a saving over online retailers. Rep very good and I don't think I'm the only one watching so the auctions can get into fierce bidding wars especially for the hot titles.

Overall: Another of my favorite sellers and large section of my Berserk and Trigun section came from chickensouplover. They seem to have a wide variety of tastes and so a highly recommended seller.

How about mentioning whether or not these sellers ship internationally? /images/graemlins/happy.gif

Pros: A powerseller or a semi-eBay store type has hunderds of anime dvds for sale. Sells new product still in shrink wrap and security tags and almost every thing has a BIN price as well. Very reasonable combine shipping stated up front and clearly states they don't sell bootlegs or pirate material of any kind. Also sells other anime-related items like figurines and toys.

Cons: Prices for the newer or hotter titles are rather high and starting shipping is like $4 a single disk and much higher if its a box or some special addition item.

Overall: They are an excellent choice for filling up older or lesser know series and if you get three or four titles then the shipping doesn't hurt as much as it starts to spread across the whole order. I haven't used them recently but in the past they filled up most of my Saber Marionette collection and a few others for around $11 or less a volume. Again a recommended seller.

Hrm. Lots of the cheaper DVDs seem to be straight out of TRSI's bargain bin, just a few dollars more expensive. I wonder why /images/graemlins/wink.gif

That might be true but there is also a lot of stuff not found in the bins like Trouble Chocolate and Dual while many others are missing like Orphen II. Just shows that certains shows where poor sellers or old no matter where you look. /images/graemlins/sdsmiley.gif /images/graemlins/sdsmiley.gif /images/graemlins/sdsmiley.gif

Pros: Always has a wide variety of interesting anime and gaming related items from Japan, all of them actually legit (which is remarkable considering it's eBay). Usually he has gashapons, plushies, pencil boards, pins, stickers, etc from popular series like Ghost in the Shell, Gundam Seed, Fullmetal Alchemist, and (gag) Naruto. Combines shipping and offers both standard and expedited shipping from Hong Kong (which also makes it remarkable that his stuff is legit).

Cons: Shipping usually starts at $4, so it's really more economical if you win two or more items.

Overall: Really one of my favorite sellers - I've bought from him maybe ten times - though it's probably more. Even with surface shipping, his stuff always arrives fairly quickly. Plus he's fast on responding to emails. All in all, I've never had a problem.

Pros: Sells some anime DVDs, many auctions start at $0.01 and the DVDs are authentic region 1 as well. He lists DVDs from same series in a single auctions, but usually not the complete series. Good communication as well! Just look at his feedback %!

Cons: Hmm... Nothing that comes to my mind... I just hope that all his auctions are complete series...

Overall: I bought a lot of DVDs from him in the past and didn't have any problems. And it's a bargain too! Take advantage of the price!

One of my favorite sellers as well. I've bought dozens and dozens of Anime DVDs from this seller. I really like how he bundles DVDs together which makes the USPS Priority Mail more of a bargain for 5 or 6 DVDs vs 1 DVD. Can also pick up some real good deals if you're patient. I got L/R at $4 per , Original Dirty Pair at $5 per and Aibats for $6. All brand new in the shrinkwrap.

Recommended Seller: patan01

Positive Feedback: 99.3%

Pros: Many anime auctions starting at $.99 including LE and boxsets. Items are brand new and still in shrink wrap. Flat shipping no matter how much you win. Will give you 10 days to pay so you can try to win multiple auctions. Sells a lot of newer releases and LE items. Powerseller with thousands of items available every day including mutliple copies of the same item offered at different times.

Cons: Shipping is $4.50 so really need to win at least two auctions. Powerseller so CS might not be so high and feedback rating might not be as good as some look for. $.99 auctions tend to be very popular and alot of times are hard to win under $10. BIN items tend to a little overpriced and not all volumes of a certain series are offered.

Overall: Right now this is my number one seller and every dvd I've gotten from them was brand new and still in the shrink wrap. That includes ROD v6-7, Planetes v1, Baki v1, Spiral v5, GXP v7 for all around $6 each including shipping. I've seen sets of ROD go up as well as many Scrapped Princess LE volumes. Check the UPC code they give and picture as they have simutantous auctions for regular and LE versions of the same show. Interesting thing is I always get a bonded message in the email after winning one of their auctions. Not sure what it means but it all good.

Pros:
. Thousands of Anime Dvds (mainly ADV singles)
. Average Price for a Single is $2.99
. Average Price for a Boxset is $14.99
. Fast Delivery (items usually ship within 2 days)
. Items are always well packed

Cons:

Overall: Great prices and a reliable Seller. Customer service could be a lot better but isn't this the case with all powersellers?
