<font color="red">VOTE DEADLINE</font>: ONLINE VOTING IS NOW CLOSED
Head to Anime Vegas to vote in person in time for Saturday!
Place your bets! It's time to kick off the Anime Vegas (http://www.animevegas.com/) edition of the monthly Dub Awards.
Which of these voice acting thoroughbreds will you be banking on?
Fresh off revitalizing the NYC dub market with a whopping <font color="green">4 awards</font> for Midori Days, AVegas attendee Sean Schemmel looks to carry that momentum forward courtesy of NYAV Post's Ah! My Goddess. With so many talented directors and studios still shut out of the 'Best Dub of 2005' award picture, can Schemmel do the impossible and land himself a second shot at the big prize?
Fullmetal Alchemist continues to get bypassed for Best Dub consideration thanks in part to its TV run choking out some of its potential concentrated fan support. With only one award to its name thus far, can it finally break through the ranks for FUNi's first-ever top prize without the threat of other mainstream favorites stealing its thunder? Will it roll boxcars or snake eyes? Only you guys can decide whether Mike and Colleen leave Vegas as winners.
With revitalized momentum, a ton of new dubs poised to be unleashed in October and the looming return of Princess Tutu, ADV's rebounded nicely from their slow start to 2005 and now find themselves at the head of the pack once again. With the likes of Full Metal Panic? Fumoffu, Madlax, Peacemaker, Elfen Lied and Area 88 all hitting full stride, it would be no surprise to see another jackpot looming in their future.
Looking for something new to sink your teeth into? There's always Mars Daybreak and the newly-revived Sakura Diaries starring Mariela Ortiz! Kyuuu!
Unlike prior months, this awards session is unique in that the eventual winners will be announced in Vegas before anywhere else! Some of the top contenders may even be in attendance to accept their awards personally... but nobody will win unless they garner your support.
You should be used to our new point structure by now... <font color="green">5 Points</font> for 1st, <font color="green">3 Points</font> for 2nd and <font color="green">2 Points</font> for 3rd.
Now that the industry has widely adopted the concept of the re-release, you'll have fewer dubs to plow through. We've been dealt a hand of 45 dubs for September... and with even less planned for next month, you now have no excuse to let primo dubs slip through the cracks.
THE ANIME DUB AWARDS PAST WINNERS LIST (http://forums.animeondvd.com/showthreaded.php?Number=309837) ... if a performance appears on this list, it <font color="red">CAN'T</font> win again. So vote wisely!

Here's what I've seen so far:
* Fullmetal Alchemist Volume 5: The Cost of Living - FUNimation Entertainment
* Mars Daybreak Volume 1 - Bang Zoom! / Bandai Entertainment
Will make an effort to see the following:
* Ah! My Goddess TV Volume 1: Always & Forever - NYAV Post / Media Blasters
* Gunslinger Girl Volume 3: The Silence of the Stars - FUNimation Entertainment
* Yugo the Negotiator ~ Pakistan Volume 2: Honor - ADV Films
Possibly:
* Area 88 Target 2: A Lonely Crossing of Paths - ADV Films
* Madlax Volume 4: Elda Taluta - ADV Films
Could see some other stuff too, but those are the likely ones.
At this point, it's hard to say how I'll vote. I may check out FMA vol. 5 again just to remind myself of what went on in that volume. I thought Mars Daybreak was fun and had some very entertaining performances in it, but it's hard to say at this point if any of them are worthy of awards.

For established AODers / DubReview folk who plan on hitting Anime Vegas, you may choose to pass along your finalized votes in person at the con... but you'll have to let me know ahead of time, so I know to seek you out to factor them into our final totals.

Thus far - FMP#3 has been fun.
I was slightly disappointed with GITS:SAC2 #1 - a minor gripe - think the VA picked for the Prime Minister doesn't quite match image or personality. Presumably as this role will recur during the series.

Narob's Nominations For September
Drew Aaron as Keiichi Morisato for best actor
Eileen Stevens as Belldandy for best actress
Ah! My Goddess TV (Volume 1) for best dub
Just in case it was missed in the hubbub of August's thread, being that he'll be unable to vote while overseas.

I'll chime in with one definitive actress vote in the early going. Still have plenty of September dubs to enjoy.

Only thing known for sure is that my top best actor spot will be going to Liam O'Brien as Kazuharu Fukuyama (Girls Bravo Vol. 2)... possibly his greatest performance ever.

I watched another episode from this disc last night and yes, Nancy is awesome in this role. However, let's not ignore this sudden even crazierness from Luci Christian's Margaret Burton, which I made my first place vote at DubReview (http://www.dubreview.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=1430) .
Hmm, I think I'll watch the last episode on the disc now that I'm awake. /images/graemlins/happy.gif </font>

Luci's great as Margaret... no question about that. I'd like to give her an award just for her giggling in the infamous FancyPants56 extra from Madlax Volume 3.
That being said, Luci impresses me every month and her Margaret... while excellent... is largely similar to roles she's done before. Couple that with the fact that she's won 4 times already (including twice this year), and I'll vote for the chick who's showing me something new.
We CAN vote for new people, guys. I know I love those big 'ole rising number tallies I can add to the Circuit convention calendar, but it is nice to recognize fresh blood every so often. Granted, that's my own personal credo... not anyone else's. I hold previous winners to a higher standard than everyone else because they've won before... otherwise, I'd just dole out my top Actor vote to Chris Patton every month and turn into Vicious. I'll vote for the best of the best when they're clearly the class of the field... but when there are lots of great performances from both veterans and rookies alike, I'll usually try to recognize the rookies. They need more help due to their lack of proven bandwagon fanbases, anyway. (weeps some more for Chris Ayres) /images/graemlins/cry00000.gif
That's a big reason why Liam would have to do something pretty impressive to blow me away with his Fukuyama... a character that's largely similar to roles he's won for twice before. Just a dash more over-the-top. /images/graemlins/wink.gif Why we weren't able to recognize his extraordinary directing talent earlier this year in Koi Kaze still boggles my mind... I still think it's my personal front-runner choice for Dub of the Year. /images/graemlins/stunned1.gif

This month is quite open, I honestly don't have much of an idea on who to vote for Best Actor. But Best Actress is a really tough choice between Nancy Navotny and Luci Christian for Madlax. I'll probably give the nod to Nancy since she hasn't really gotten the votes so far and is truly awesome as Madlax.

Haven't seen much on the list, so I'm guessing I'll probably pick out a few performances from FMA and IY Movie 3 that I really like. I may give a vote to Jerry Jewell in FMA. /images/graemlins/happy.gif

I'd give Ocean kudos for their Tetsujin 28 dub, but I have no idea who voiced whom. A listing of VAs under "Featuring the Voices of" without individual attribution kinda bites. Maybe they'll get their due in vol. 2.

Sorry I didn't vote last time, but Chrono Crusade took the cake anyway. /images/graemlins/tongue.gif Due to recent events, *see blog*, I haven't been able to get on the comp lately but that atleast gave me some time to sit down and watch some good old anime.

I will see:

I'll throw one vote out there, since I don't think this one is changing...
Best Actor:
1. Kevin Corn in Peacemaker Vol 7
I don't think it's possible to overstate how much this performance made me reevaluate what Kevin Corn is capable - he's always been a great actor, but the range of emotion and the depth of his performance here was just breathtaking. An award-worthy performance if ever I've heard one.

I've been hearing jawdropping praise about Kevin's work in Peacemaker's final episodes. Haven't taken it in yet, but there's a reason why I haven't pegged a Best Actor candidate yet. After being blown away once already this year by Kevin in a Don Rush dub, nothing would surprise me.

Ah!, at last its time for me to vote!
<font color="red">BEST DUB: Full Metal Alchemist Vol. 5: The Cost of Living</font>
2. Elfen Lied Vector 3
3. Ghost in the Shell SAC 2nd Gig vol. 1
Originally, I was going to say Elfen Lied but I belive I'm jumping the gun on this one, meaning vector 4 could be a whole lot better than what I'm seeing now. So, it wouldn't hurt to just wait a little longer. FMA has really suprised me, judging on how popular its become, I assumed it was just going to be another overated show like Inuyasha (which is still good but not as good as it was when I first saw it) but I was way wrong and underestimating a BONES anime is a sin. Everyone actor and actress outdo themselves in this series and with the recent vol. 5, its just keeps growing on me. The supportive roles are really strong here and the leads are even more so, I can't wait to finish this series cause with being 50 eps long, I'm know I'm in for a good run.
<font color="red">BEST ACTOR: Chris Sabat/Alex Louis Armstrong/FMA Vol. 5</font>
2. Aaron Dismuke/ Alphonse Elric/ FMA Vol. 5
3. Jay Hickman/Kurama/Elfen Lied Vector 3
After all the screaming in Dragonball, Z, GT, I'm amazed that Chris is even able to speak let alone perform so well as Louis Armstrong, the pink stars shall shine on this one! I laughed my ass off every time he entered the scene. "Oh! EDWARD ELRIC!!!!!!!" LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!! Well Done Mr. Sabat.
<font color="red">BEST ACTRESS - Caitlin Glass/Winry Rockbell/FMA Vol. 5</font>
2. Kira Vincent Davis/Nyu-Lucy/Elfen Lied Vector 3
3. Juli Erikson/Pinako Rockbell/FMA Vol. 5
Let me put it this way, if this were Vol. 3, I would have voted Caitlin as Best Actress all because she said "Whee!" With this volume, I got more, MUCH MORE! Seeing Caitlin goof off alittle in this one stole the show for me when it came to the female roles (just like Sasha Paysinger did in Elfen Lied Vector 2) and even when it wasn't all happy, Caitlin still did an excellent job.
Honorable Mention: Kira also did amazingly well in vector 3 esspecially in episode 8, but I believe vol. 4 of EL will the be the one, Kira is one of the greatest dub actresses ever, so I have faith in a really good performance in the final volume of Elfen Lied.

I didn't think I'd get to the next two titles on my list so quickly, but that's what a sick day will do for you.
Edit: A second sick day has allowed me to finish up my entire "Will see for sure" list. If I can find Genshiken in a local store, it will probably be the final September title I watch for this voting period. Gotta get to work on those October titles.

Harem shows do very little for me, as you well know. And Ah! My Goddess TV is about as by the numbers as they come. Spineless male lead pining for infallible doting female companion-for-life. Bleh.
And yet, despite all that, Drew makes the 'dorky protagonist' role work tremendously well. You can't hate Keiichi in spite of his faults. He's endearing. The delivery is captivating me in spite of the cliche been there-done that content. And Eileen is practically perfect as Belldandy... encapsulating elements of both the Ruby & Juliet Bells along with Michelle Ruff's Aoi from Ai Yori Aoshi. I'm not entirely won over by the rest of the cast but it's almost impossible to turn away from the screen when the two leads are front-and-center.
That being said, Drew hasn't fully locked in my top actor vote just yet... I may toss that honor to Kevin Hatcher in Le Portrait de Petite Cossette. I haven't decided yet. /images/graemlins/sweat000.gif

BEST ACTOR
1. Jerry Jewell as Barry the Chopper (Fullmetal Alchemist Vol. 5)
2. David Kaye as Sesshomaru (Inuyasha: The Movie 3)
BEST ACTRESS
1. Brenna O'Brien as Rin (Inuyasha: The Movie 3)
2. Caitlin Glass as Winry Rockbell (Fullmetal Alchemist Vol. 5)
3. Gwendolyn Lau as Sciezka (Fullmetal Alchemist Vol. 5)
BEST DUB
1. Fullmetal Alchemist
2. Inuyasha: The Movie 3
Picked out a few notables in the titles I've seen from this month (both of them being quite excellent in my opinion). David Kaye plays Sesshomaru's coolness and Brenna O'Brien Rin's cuteness flawlessly in the third movie, though in some part an acknowledgement of their work in the series too (the performances were great from the start, and really hit some good high points). Don't expect them to pull off a win (as has been the case with Inuyasha), but I definitely think they're worthy of support. /images/graemlins/wink.gif
Jerry Jewell definitely does some great voice work for real psychos like Barry, and I really liked his part from these episode of FMA.

I'm still narrowing down my choices for best actor, but I'll make my other votes now.
Best Actress: Monica Rial, Angelica, Gunslinger Girl
What can I say? It's a solid performance, and one I really enjoyed. Angelica's an interesting character to be sure, and Monica did excellent work with her through the entire volume. Angelica came across as enthusiastic and very earnest.
Best Dub: Fullmetal Panic: Fumoffu, Volume Three
This dub is a lot of fun to listen to. One of the elements that sets it apart is the level of polish in the supporting cast. Even relatively minor characters sound consistently good. Of course the leads are doing great work, and the cast has good chemistry. It's a tough call between this show and Fullmetal Alchemist. The Alchemist dub is coming together really nicely, too, and I think a lot of those cast members are doing great work. This last volume or two has shown good work in the supporting roles. Great stuff in a big cast. It's a shame to choose between the two, but for the moment I'm going to give Fumoffu the slight edge.

Best Dub of the Month:
1. Petite Cossette
2. Elfen Lied vol.3
3. Ah! My Goddess TV vol.1
Hands down the dub for Petite Cossette is the dub for this month. Lots of raw emotions bursting from both leads, makes for a great performance for a great show. Elfen Lied deserves plenty of props in this volume, seeing how well the backstory, tension and drama (with a splash of silly humour) meld together. As for Ah! My Goddess, I'm still not used to hearing Ruby Marlowe coming out of Bell, but I still like Eileen's performance. Plus I know that there are better things coming later on with AMG.

Petite Cossette is an odd little series... reminded me a lot of Aquarian Age in that department. Except a little lacking when it came to character development.
What can't be understated is that the dub itself was pretty darn good. Especially Kevin Hatcher... who impressed the hell out of me and no doubt strained his vocal cords something fierce with all of the screaming involved in his performance.
Wendee Lee often gets a raw deal as a director, but I can safely say that this is one instance where she did the source material a great deal of justice.

Best Dub:
Best dub had quite a few solid choices to pick from. Outside of FMP? Fummoffu, none of the dubs reached that outstanding level of cohesion and pure enjoyment. Gunslinger Girl definitely has a lot of impact, I never felt it held together as well as it could have, still you can't ignore some outstanding scenes in the dub. I love that confrontation between Claes and Angelica. Burst Angel is also a good Funi dub. Good soundstage and some fun performances. Samurai Champloo took a dip in quality for the dub in the episode and unnamed characters returned to sounding sub-par. The leads are still fantastic though. Otogi Zoshi was probably the most improved dub. The actors fit into the new setting quite well...and adjusted their performances. But, it's going to be all Texas for my votes...

Best Dub
Shura no Toki #6
Mermaid Forest #2
Tetsujin 28 #1
Best Actor
Marc Thompson as Izumi Mutsu in Shura no Toki
Brian Drummond as Kenji Murasame in Tetsujin 28
Liam O'Brien as Yuta in Mermaid Forest
Best Actress
Carol Jacobanis as Saki in Genshiken
Erica Shaffer as Towa in Mermaid Forest
Rachael Lillis as Ohno in Genshiken
Shura no Toki once again is my favorite dub with Marc Thompson's Izumi leading the way. The other actors in SnT also were excellent and it all pays off with one of the best last episodes of the year. Mermaid Forest dub actors play the material straight and let the sadness & tragedy of the story shine through, esp. the 'Mermaid Forest' two-part episodes. Tetsujin 28 is just fun, fun, fun. But don't be fooled, 'Gigantor' circa 2004 is a serious show with characters who are haunted by their actions during World War Two, and the Ocean actors do an amazing job portraying their pain.
Genshiken was another fine dub, but while the 'Gals' (Jacobanis & Lillis) were wonderful, I felt the 'guys' weren't as good.

Burst Angel vol. 3

Yugo the Negotiator vol. 2
Best Dub
1. Madlax vol. 4
2. Fullmetal Alchemist vol. 5
3. Full Metal Panic? Fumoffu vol. 3
Best Actor
1. Aaron Dismuke as Al - Fullmetal Alchemist vol. 5
2. Chris Ayres as Ali - Yugo vol. 2
3. Vic Mignogna as Carossea Doon - Madlax vol. 4
I was going to vote for Jason Douglas for his Yugo but I figured that he gets quite a bit of attention already, I give the vote to Chris Ayres(who is just as good in this show, if I remember correctly, it's been a while since I saw it) this time.
Best Actress
1. Nancy Navotny as Madlax - Madlax vol. 4
2. Luci Christian as Margaret - Madlax vol. 4
3. Monica Rial as Jo - Burst Angel vol. 3
I think it's pretty obvious which dub I think is really awesome this month. It probably won't win but hopefully more will check it out as a result of the voting. I couldn't really think who to put as third place and after watching BA, I noticed that Monica hasn't really gotten many votes(as far as I know) for this role so I figured I'd do my part.
The number of shows I got to watch was affected by school so hopefully I can catch up on some of them by the next volume comes out. I had hoped to watch much more, but them's the breaks.

I suspect we'll have the award results passed along on IRC sometime on Sunday. As for just who may show up to share them, who knows? There are a LOT of big names attending the convention this weekend and you just don't know which of them will make a surprise appearance into VoxBox after the post-con festivities are wrapped up at 4:00pm Mountain time. /images/graemlins/wink.gif

... this month's online award voting window closes. The results will be sealed, digitized and encoded into my PSP for safekeeping. With the remaining votes cast at Anime Vegas proper deciding the eventual winners.
So what's the scoop on voting at the con? Well, I'm lightening up on my restriction to contact me beforehand if you intend to finalize your votes at the con. We're all busy with work, packing and last-minute preparations after all. However, that is not an invitation to rally a bunch of faceless strangers together at some dub panel for in-person voting.
I will accept physical votes "in writing" at the con from established VoxBox, AOD & DubReview regulars and that's it. Furthermore, industry guests attending the con will be forbidden from participating. If any of you are lurking and not sure whether or not your "in person" votes will count, better play it safe and post your picks in the thread before tomorrow night at midnight Pacific.
I'm not expecting many 'in person' participants... but it's a fun gimmick to try out nonetheless. You'll need to track me down before <font color="red">2:00pm Mountain Daylight Time</font> on Saturday for your votes to count. /images/graemlins/cool.gif

1. Drew Aaron as Keiichi Morisato, Ah! My Goddess TV, Vol. 1
2. Jerry Jewell as Barry the Chopper, Fullmetal Alchemist, Vol. 5
3. Jay Hickman as Kurama, Elfen Lied, Vol. 3
A neck-and-neck race for the #1 slot, Drew aces Jerry by virtue of having just THAT MUCH more time to apply his acting chops *groan*. It's a shame too; had Barry's role been extended as it was in the manga I think Jerry would have been an easy frontrunner for an award somewhere down the line.
*BEST ACTRESS
1. Nancy Novotny as Madlax, Madlax, Vol. 4
2. Caitlyn Glass as Winry Rockbell, Fullmetal Alchemist, Vol. 5
3. Kira Vincent-Davis as Lucy/Nyu, Elfen Lied, Vol. 3
GO NANCY.

*BEST DUB*

3. Elfen Lied, Vol. 3
LAWDY. Everyone I'd of considered for Fumoffu already has an award sewn up (Chris/Lucy/Vic). Nomed Kaerf'll get some love from me next round, but for the moment second place will have to do.

NEXT MONTH'S PREDICTIONS - October is going to go down as the month of Godannar. With so many knock-out performances and its tight script - among other things /images/graemlins/noseblee.gif - I feel 'Dannar's the definite forerunner for some awards love. The only real doubts I've got is where the voting pendulum swings in favor of Hillary Haag or Laura Chapman, and whether they'll split the vote enough to let another deserving nom squeeze through.

Oooh... a prediction thread. Admittedly, I haven't had the chance to see Godannar just yet... or any of ADV's other titles from October due to their Canadian distribution headaches of late... however, I'm thinking next month could well be a crapshoot... and quite possibly our most competitive month in a long, long time. The only thing I'd be confident in predicting is that NewGen's slump will continue.
ADV's got a TON of big debuts courtesy of the aforementioned Godannar along with Yumeria, Mythical Detective Loki Ragnarok and Ghost Stories.
Planetes is earning some raves from the hardcores for both its content and dub quality and could be poised to perform given the recent streak of Texas & New York victories.
Scrapped Princess has been long overdue for a win as well.
Then, you've gotta consider the resurgent and completely awesome Kodocha, one of the best harem dubs of all-time in DearS, the long-anticipated debut of Gankutsuou, the MINDBLOWING 8th installment of GANTZ and the finale of FMP Fumoffu (a dub that... in my mind... could quite possibly be the most technically excellent recent dub to get skunked if it fails to notch a Best Dub win in its belt). It could join a list of fierce Best Dub of 2K5 contenders along with Koi Kaze, Paranoia Agent and Petite Princess Yucie should it fail to win and be FIERCELY competitive.
And that list doesn't even touch on the host of quality sleeper dubs out there like Fighting Spirit, Samurai 7, Gilgamesh and The Melody of Oblivion... that may not rally for Best Dub honors but could easily steal a win in an individual acting category.
There's a LOT of quality out there garnering for your votes next month. It'll be no cakewalk for anybody.

On behalf of B-Rad, here are the September winners!
BEST DUB: Fullmetal Alchemist Volume 5: The Cost of Living - FUNimation Entertainment
BEST ACTOR: Drew Aaron as Keiichi Morisato, Ah! My Goddess TV Volume 1: Always & Forever - NYAV Post / Media Blasters
BEST ACTRESS: Nancy Novotny as Madlax, Madlax Volume 4: Elda Taluta - ADV Films
The best part is that we were able to congratulate Mike and Colleen on their wins in person, while Drew Aaron reportedly received the news via a text message from director Sean Schemmel. (Too bad Nancy and HK weren't in attendance... it would have been fun to extend her the same courtesy.)
In conclusion: this con RULES! /images/graemlins/sdsmiley.gif

Awesome! Congrats to Nancy! She's been excellent from what I've seen in Madlax and is more than deserving. Drew Aaron was great as Keiichi too. What more can be said about the Full Metal Alchemist dub? If not for the fact I'm watching via Cartoon Network and not on DVD, they'd be getting my vote as well.

I couldn't be more thrilled for this month's award winners.
Both Mike and Colleen have invested their souls into making Fullmetal Alchemist something special. No single dub has EVER managed to juggle so many talented performers and recurring characters... it's really quite something. I'm sure this will be the first of many awards for FUNimation on the dub front. I hope to pin down both Mike and Colleen for a picture tomorrow in memory of their big win.
Sean Schemmel has pulled off a rare trick by directing Drew Aaron to two awards in a single calendar year... something that's only happened once before when Matt directed Monica to two awards wins for Noir and RahXephon. Drew's received the news and I know Sean couldn't be happier for the guy... he's gotta rank as the favorite for breakout star of the year.
As luck would have it, both Vicious and myself ran into Sean at the Rio during Penn & Teller tonight and it turns out Sean's an AOD English Track lurker. He's had to take a break from directing to focus on his voice acting career and will be leaving Ah My Goddess! partway through, however I have no doubt that Mike Sinterniklaas will find a capable director to bring it along smoothly... if not tackling that duty himself. Sad though it may be to lose Sean from the directing ranks for a while, it'll be worth it if we get to hear more quality performances out of him ala Tetsugyu in Giant Robo.
However, I'm happy the most for Nancy's win as Madlax. That performance has been an absolute delight to listen to since I first had the chance to sneak preview the title in Houston this past March... and to see her recognized so enthusiastically by everyone here at AOD and at DubReview for Madlax is just wonderful. It couldn't have happened to a nicer lady and the only thing that would have made Anime Vegas even more memorable would have been to congratulate Nancy and HK in person.
However, online is the next best thing... so with that CONGRATULATIONS NANCY! You rule! And it's great to see a Kyle Jones dub carry an award for the 1st time. That's long overdue.
Thanks to everyone who voted. The awards thread for October's dubs and early nominations for the Best of 2K5 Dub Awards will kick off later this week, so keep your eyes peeled.

CON-gratulations to all the winners! It was only a few weeks ago we were all telling Nancy how much we loved her as Madlax, and now she has proof! Drew Aaron is a worthy winner, and I would hazard a guess that he was quite a run away winner this month, and even though I haven't heard it, I'm sure that Full Metal Alchemist is great too! (I haven't heard it YET, it's just been announced to be one of the first non-4kids anime series on UK TV in over a year, along with Wolf's Rain)

Congratulations to the winners, it's awesome that Nancy has won for her awesome performance as Madlax. Maybe this will lead to a 'Best Dub' award sometime down the road.
It's good to see FMA win since it's a high quality dub. I'm really impressed at how they're living up to (and surpassing) expectations, with all the high profile actors on a high profile show. I guess I shoudn't be too surprised about Drew Aaron winning, given that's he totally awesome as Seiji in Midori Days. It looks like I'll be watching AMG soon.

Chris Ayres has sadly NOT won yet for GANTZ... despite seven opportunities thus far. His work in that series is exceptional and definitely award-worthy. If nothing else, I expect he'll give Drew Aaron and some of the other guys a run when it comes to picking our male Rising Star for 2005.
