Make your own dub with this VA Region: California

Yep folks I'm back again and this time with good ol' California here. Whether it be Ani-Maze, Bang-Zoom, New Generation Productions, Studiopolis, whatever. And like the Canada one you can't use any VA you like but it is flexible.

1. You can use "Special Guest" VA's from the dubs with Californian VA talent such as Jennifer Hale and Tom Kenney.

You can use ANY Voice Actor/Actress whom has ever done Anime Dub VA work in California. And here is my example...

Asuka- Kari Wahlgren
Rei- Amanda Wynn Lee
Gendo- Michael McConnohie
Fuyutsuki- William Frederick Knight

Not sure since I don't know follow Video-Games dubbing. I'm not even sure if we discuss Video-Games actors in this forum. Afaik, this forum is anime-only. You might want to check with the mods about it, tho.

These topic series' can openly include those whom aren't known for Anime Dub VA work here. The other is not specifying that as well.

Besides these are focused on VA regions each, so it gives all the regions a chance instead of mostly ADV and the like.

Though I'll of course give Texas and New York their topics of course.

I think it's best to probably leave the hypothetical casts to the "Make Your Own Dub" thread, Pokejedservo. You can do any region you want there (and include non-regular VA's for anime if you wish). I say this because the mods usually frown on so many topics with the same premise here, and they would probably be locked.

However I can't really do it because I don't know how to handle the ADR director part. Admittingly for the most part I know little about anyone in a dub outside of Voice Actors.

You don't have to do that part if you don't want to. Or otherwise just go with whoever directed or wrote your favorite dub from the region (going by CA or the like) /images/graemlins/wink.gif

But one last question, could you add in NA animation VA talent as well? Because I was thinking of doing something like that too.

It's just a hypothetical list, so I don't see why not. They're meant to be wishful thinking IMO. Not even many of the "make your own dub" casts that use regular anime VA's from the same region may be possible as a real anime dub cast, due to various reasons (VA's retiring from anime, union issues, etc.)

I just talked with the guy behind that thread about it and he says its perfectly okay. So I'll finally get to those other 3 posts in the very near future.


I'll be doign another cast listing for this. But oddly enough I'm thinkign of the Dead or Alive video game series.
