Best Manga September 2005 - the votes are in!

Time to vote for the Best manga released in September 2005.

You can vote for up to three titles. The poll closes Tuesday October 18th (midnight) at that point the results will be viewable by all.

The list is comprised of what was in the New in Comic Stores & New at Bookstores listings for the month of September.

Please do not post comments about why isn't this title here or why is it here, instead contact me (PM works best) about it. And if it has not appeared before it will be listed in the best of the October 2005 poll.

A lot of these titles I'm waiting on to arrive this week as they were early Oct titles that shipped early. Hopefully I can get them read this week.

One title that did impress me and will be one of my votes is Lady Snowblood #1. Finally, a Koike release that is unflipped and we got the wideban release! Plus I think Yuki is one of the more interesting characters I've come across and I love a good revenge story, and this is one of the better ones out there.

The other two I should have included: Mahoromatic 7 and Yotsuba 3

Yotsuba, Death Note and Iron Wok Jan for me. Lady Snowblood was also really enjoyable, it would've been my fourth pick.

I have a few of these on backorder (DMC, Yu Yu, Hellsing, Bleach etc) and so have to vote for the 2 I've read so far, One Piece 8 and Eyeshield 21 4, with a special mention to E21.
I actually can't believe how much better this manga gets with every volume. Hiruma has me laughing like a mad thing (bit where <span style='color:#dddddd;background:#dddddd'>he tricks Sena into flipping off the Chameleons for the poster?</span> Genius! /images/graemlins/sdsmiley.gif).

The introduction of more new characters (and Hiruma's brutal way of separating the men from the boys!) is a lot of fun to read.

I woud have to say that E21 is my favourite manga being released (yeah, even slightly over Initial D) but it's all over too soon /images/graemlins/cry00000.gif
