Make a dub using only Hollywood Non-VA Actors.

What with all these "make a dub" threads popping up since the draft ended, i thought i would try one i've thought about for a while.

The idea is to make a dub using ONLY Hollywood actors. They have to be actors who do not do VA work regularly, so guys like Patrick Stewart are ok. Even actors who do regular Disney filsm are cool. And actors who are in TV are fine as well. Basically the last people you would expect to hear in an anime dub.

So let's have fun shall we. I'll kick things off with the same classic that was used for the Draft.

Shinji Ikari: Haley Joel Osmond
Misato Katsuragi: Courtney Cox
Ritsuko Akagi:Miranda Otta
Gendo Ikari:Andreas Katsulas(G'Kar;:Babylon 5)

Well that's the primary characters. For a couple of the ones i wasn't sure people would recognize, I included thier ebst known role to date.

Courtney Cox as Misato in the LA movie would be ultra cool.

Jennifer Aniston as VA for Asuka?

Shinji could be dlw in a tight rubber suit /images/graemlins/devil.gif or otherwise Jim Carey /images/graemlins/tongue.gif

Ritsuko would be good done by the actress who played Kira Nerys in DS9 & the head scientist in Dark Angel.

James Earl Jones could definitely be a SEELE voice, or Keele Lorenz maybe.

Rei by the actress who played Willow(?) in Buffy.
