Saw all of these, plus the Fruits Basket bookmarks. Did anyone mention these before? My store had Tohru and Kyo. Are they the only ones, or are there others?

Those are the two I saw in my store... they arrived a couple of weeks ago. I was looking through the pile for a Yuki one (since it only made sense, at least to me) but didn't find any others and we haven't gotten any since.

Those are the two I saw in my store... they arrived a couple of weeks ago. I was looking through the pile for a Yuki one (since it only made sense, at least to me) but didn't find any others and we haven't gotten any since.

Yeah, there are also Inu Yasha ones.
I picked up a Kyo one, but would love to see others. (*cough Haru cough*)

I just noticed that the company doing the bookmarks is Antioch. IIRC, when they've had past licenses like Animorphs and BabySitters Club, they've done all kinds of merchandise beyond bookmarks --- wallet cards, journals, notebooks, etc. That would be nice for Fruits Basket. I tried looking around their website, but couldn't find a complete product line.

What do they look like? The Fruits Basket bookmarks, that is...this is the first I've heard /images/graemlins/happy.gif. They aren't exclusive anywhere are they?

No clue about exclusivity. They are regular looking bookmarks (not funky shaped or anything) and Tohru's is her in her uniform against a blue background (nighttime with stars maybe - can't recall), sorta bending forward with that kind of concerned/confused look she always has. I think it was a blue tassle with matchign beads. That's how I remember it anyway -- I just glanced at it. Kyo's (I bought it) is split into 3 panels - close up of his cutie pie face, angry arched-back kitty mode, and FB Japanese logo (think: eyecatch) with angry kitty kyo. Orange themed top and bottom, surprise. The tassle is orange, with matching beads.

Thanks for the info /images/graemlins/happy.gif. I wasn't sure if they'd be something other than a regular bookmark design but I can picture them. Don't think I'll be making a special trip to the bookstore for them, though, but I'll try not to forget to look for them next time I go /images/graemlins/sweat000.gif. I do have an affinity/compulsion for Kyo merchandise, however, so I will probably pick one up if I see it.

I've also seen a Yuki bookmark, in the same style as Kyo's. What with the Inuyasha bookmarks too, my Waldenbooks has a regular anime section going.

I've been waiting a while for this series to get a box set and I'll be just as patiently waiting to see if there'll be one for Death Note in the future as well.

Haven't got a list yet for this weekend.. well, just 'cuz.. but thought I'd mention for those not following some mention in another thread... the Del Rey books are now coming with strict street dates... that is no sales allowed before release date so, next tuesday (10/25) xxxholic 6, Genshiken 3, Tsubasa 7 will all be out.

*note: I DID hear that Tsubasa was seen at a local Suncoast tho -- if the books get sold the store will be fined, but since Suncoast isn't really a bookstore employees may not notice ... so YMMV, check your local stores! /images/graemlins/tongue.gif

I also saw Tokyo Boys and Girls 2 finally (?).

There are others I'm sure, but I won't be able to post a list til Monday or Tues probably. You all will just have to go shop for yourselves... /images/graemlins/tongue.gif /images/graemlins/sdsmiley.gif

Oh, and for those who haven't seen it yet, Waldenbooks is also doing a frequent buyer promotion for Graphic Novels (buy 10, get 10$ off your next GN purchase). So, ask about it at your local waldens /images/graemlins/happy.gif -- it doesn't apply to borders stores tho.

Stuff for me whenever I decide to do my mass manga order. I randomly decided that I'll start reading Hana-Kimi again. I don't know why. That might change when I actually place my order.
