Hello again boys and girls. Now just imagine for a second; You've seen all these anime and sometimes game character popularity battles, and fanboys would get all rowdy on one side (e.g. the Naruto fans and the Bleach fans). I recently looked at the Gamefaqs Character Battle 4 and decided that I should bring one here, but with a twist unlike any other, so introducing:
SUPER VOICE ACTOR FANTASY TOURNAMENT SPECIAL GO!
The Fantasy Special (as we'll call it for short) is basically a VA Battle, but unlike the monthly VA Awards and the other popularity contests out there, there's a twist: The VAs will be fighting for the prize as the characters they've done! So how does it work?
Projected date: Novmeber (After the VA Draft is through)
Projected participants: 16
Projected format: single-elimination battles
Instructions:
1. There are 4 designated regions in which the brackets will be organized--East Coast, West Coast, Texas, and Canada. AoDers and VoxBoxers submit 4 male and 4 female VAs from each of these regions for participation in the battle. Any discrepencies in which region a VA should be in should be discussed on this thread or at the IRC chat(s).
2. The 4 male and female VAs from each region with the most submissions will get entered into the battle. Once the brackets are set, there will be 1 on 1 battles soon after. For each fight, randomly selected chatters will select a ROLE for which that VA has portrayed, and the battle will be decided based on those charas, not the actual VAs, hence why this is called a Fantasy Special. Video game roles will NOT be allowed, only anime roles--sorry! /images/graemlins/happy.gif
3. Winners in each battle move on to the next round and one step closer to the championship!
