I hope this isn't a bad thing to ask, but... /images/graemlins/shy00000.gif

I noticed on the GN comparison chart that Tokyopop has Rozen Maiden. I think I missed when this happened...

Has there been any word as to when it might start being released?

Not yet - it hasn't shown up on the Tokyopop release calendar (http://www.tokyopop.com/browse/calendar.php?year=2006&mm=06) yet. It may be a while, since Tokyopop seems to be slowing down the release of most of their titles. I want Spiral, dammit! /images/graemlins/cry00000.gif

Tokyopop has Spiral? /images/graemlins/catgirl0.gif When did that happen. And here I thought Tokyopop stopped licensing titles I was actually interested in.

They announced it so long ago that I don't even remember when it was. It was on the release schedule for a while (for September? I still have it on order from TRSI), then it and the product page dropped off the face of the earth. HIYONO PUNCH! I need to find out what happens in Spiral - the anime is infuriating that way.

Actually, it just turned up on their site recently (along with a load of other things I forgot they had, like the Pita-Ten artbook). May, apparently (http://www.tokyopop.com/dbpage.php?page=product&productid=3674).

Wow, this is really new! I just went to their site yesterday and it wasn't there.

But I'm not going to complain. /images/graemlins/wink.gif This is definitely good news, to see a date set.

Ha! The website's manga menu has now gone to single letters...

I think this was announced at AX when Peach-Pit was there.

It looks like there were several updates in the last day or two:
+Anima (http://www.tokyopop.com/dbpage.php?propertycode=PLS&categorycode=BMG)
Shrine of the Morning Mist (http://www.tokyopop.com/dbpage.php?propertycode=ANM&categorycode=BMG)

And the second volume of Made in Heaven: Juri (http://www.tokyopop.com/dbpage.php?propertycode=MIN&categorycode=BMG) has appeared as well. Reading the summaries for the two Made in Heaven volumes it looks like they are the same story told twice, once from the guy's perspective and once from the girl's. An interesting approach.

There's also a new Confidential Confessions (http://www.tokyopop.com/dbpage.php?page=product&productid=3748) series, a Pita-ten artbook (http://www.tokyopop.com/dbpage.php?page=product&productid=3753) and Juline Authentic Relaunch (http://www.tokyopop.com/dbpage.php?page=product&productid=2872) listed now.

Here's a link for the updated May releases (http://www.tokyopop.com/browse/calendar.php?year=2006&mm=05) in case people don't know where to find it.

Screw Juline. They need to rescue Miyu.

I know basically nothing about Juline, but my first thought on the seeing the relaunch was, 'hmm, if enough of us buy that, maybe they'll go get Miyu.'

My personal guess is that they will start releasing Rozen Maiden once Peach Pit's other title, DearS, is finished, so probably sometime after August of next year.

Of course, right after I post, I check Tokypop's Website. Its coming out on the 9th of May (http://www.tokyopop.com/dbpage.php?page=product&productid=3674) .

Edit: Ok so it was mentioned in someone else's post already. Argh.
