Kamisama Kazoku
[ QUOTE ]
A segway to earlier news reported today, some Japanese fans have uncovered additional promotional material mentioning the coming Zero No Tukaima anime. In the same print spots it's pointed out Yuichi Kuwajima's Kamisama Kazoku manga series will also be adapted to animation in Japan. It turns out both titles are published as "MF Bunko (Pocket Edition) J" releases by Media Factory. The 2 actually happen to be some current signature works released by the label so it seems this is going to be a major "double wammy" animation push in the vein of the recently announced Dengeki's Light Novel Gekijou. Details such as staff, animation houses, or even formats remain to be seen.

Zero No Tukaima
[ QUOTE ]
There are many different ways in which Japanese publishers choose to break news that their respective manga titles are going to be adapted to animation. Case in point is Media Factory's just released Pocket edition tankabon release of Yamaguchi Noboru's Zero No Tukaima #6. Included around the cover is a smaller jacket band with big font type mentioning an animation version will be made based on the work.

the pics of both can be seen on their site.

i think i may want to split this thread up. Anyways, Toei has put up it's site to Kamisama Kazoku (http://www.toei-anim.co.jp/tv/kamisama/) after the announcement yesterday. It's not open, currently just a placeholder image w/ a bit of info.

I like the character designs. That skirt on her looks a little short though heh. Managed to find this info over at Animenfo, since I can't read Japanese:

[ QUOTE ]
Kamiyama Samataro, a second grader of high school, is the eldest son of God family. He is living with his father who is God, the mother who is a goddess, his sisters who are candidates for goddesses, and a help, Tenko, who is his childhood friend and an angel. They are living in a house built 25 years ago in Setagaya. The reason why they live in the human world is because they make Samataro study human world in order to become God.
However, his parents make miracles without intention and everything goes as he wants. Therefore, he becomes languid and dull, and he is always scolded by Tenko.
One day, he encounters a mysterious transfer student, Kumiko, and falls in love with her. He makes up his mind to make her his girl friend by himself.

Dunno about the translation quality, but I got the just of it. Sounds like a good story.

Thanks for the update Rogue. I love the character designs heh. Is she wearing shorts under her skirt? Since it airs in May, that isn't to far off. Least I have one show to look forward to so far heh.
