Decorate the forums: Wallpaper Thread 2

Okay so I know it's not the second wallpaper thread, but darn it I've lost count anyway. As for the title err I blame myself for lack of creativity. In any case the idea is still the same. Provide a link to the image itself you use as a wallpaper. Or provide a link to the site that has the image and general information on where the image is. Whatever works. As for what wallpaper I'm using? Sakuya (http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v232/HolyAjora/sakuya_02_1280.jpg) from the PS2 My-HiME game. She's pretty. Too bad she wasn't in the anime. Although I'm not sure how long this wall will stay up or how often I'll change it.

They occurred monthly starting around December 2003 and then bimonthly starting around September 2004. Then there was the uber wallpaper thread that started May 2005 and lasted until now. The only reason why I remember this is because I have most of the things that I've posted here sorted into about 20 directories set by date posted. /images/graemlins/sweat000.gif

Well since the topic had 199 posts and Mods for the most part seem to like locking topics at around 200 posts, I decided just to make the 200th post and start the new thread. As for the topic title, I was going to call it "2006 Wallpaper Thread", but I changed my mind because I can. *Sits on throne*

Actually, I was hoping that it would stay fairly low-traffic, and I'd be able to let it coast through the rest of the month, but... that didn't happen. No big deal, though... although I should get around to changing my wallpaper again sometime? I just don't bother, because I almost never see it...

Perhaps ye all can aid me. A while back, a certain wallpaper was posted that I took a liking to, of a figure (ot two?) standing in a field of snow, at night, staring into the nightsky. It's simple, but striking. However, I seemed to have deleted it from my archives. Sorry, I couldn't be more specific, as that's all I'm going on right now. Much obliged.

Ah cool. Now if only they had 1280x1024 wallpapers at the site. Heh then again 1024x768 is the common format anyway, but ah well. Too bad because I'd consider switching to one of the Karin ones later. In any case I've switched to a Happy 7 Wallpaper.

Nothing too major though. Simply merged 9 different screencaps together. Six based off an introduction thing that starts in episode 4 or so. Showing the seven in different outfits. While the remaining three are based off an event that doesn't happen until episode 10. So take that as you will whether or not to view the image, but let it be known images related to the episode 10 event already existed on the official site long before 10 aired. So err whatever. Either way upload speed is crap right now. So there is no link to click on anyway.

Heh I should really start searching for a decently made Happy 7 Wallpaper. Especially one that has perhaps Kiku Sarasugawa herself on it.

Well never mind the Happy 7 thing, currently it's time to use a Vita (http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v232/HolyAjora/vita.jpg) wallpaper from Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha As. Heh if I have my way this one will stay up for a decent period. After you just have to love Vita.

I have a 1280x1024 desktop and have found that 1024x768 walls of anime scale up real nice...
Heck even some 800x600 ones still scale nice...
Infact one of my favs is a 1024x768 but you would never know it unless you looked at the image properties...!!!

I've felt compelled to use a wallpaper from Honey and Clover for some reason. Ie the wallpaper on the left from this site (http://ningen.nattoli.net/wallpapers/honey_and_clover.html) . Ie the 1280x1024 version of course.
