Bleach finally shows up at comic stores! I saw it and Hana-Kimi in bookstores back over Thanksgiving. I'm also really looking forward to seeing how the new OMG release shapes up. Only one here that doesn't excite me is Midori Days. The first two volumes didn't entertain me as much as the anime did so it is currently on the fence... /images/graemlins/happy.gif

I just got the last issue of Shojo Beat on Friday and the new one's already coming out. =_= Oh well, more to read. :D

I'm surprised that comic stores got Bleach 10 a week later than bookstores. Isn't it usually the other way around?

Also, doesn't Qwan v3 come out next week or does that also have a different date for the comic release?

There are no rules. Really. It just varies for reasons that a too numerous to even worry about.

That why we have two separate lists. Bookstores and comics stores. Separate distribution systems entirely.

This is all I picked up at the comic store this week. Other items were part of my Viz trsi order but I didn't vote for them as I didn't get them at the comic store.

Just finished reading Bleach tonight and Hot Gimmick a couple nights ago, both good volumes. I ordered all of these during the last Viz sale and they all came in together a week (or two ?) ago. I've been meaning to drop Sensual Phrase but I keep buying and reading it, so I figure I must still like it on some level.

I blindly ordered the first three volumes of Midori Days because I loved the anime so much, but the first volume was a complete bore for me, so it looks like I won't be reading the second volume let alone the third. Such a waste /images/graemlins/depresse.gif.

I found the first volume rather boring as well - I'd already seen most of it in the anime. The second was better, though still a little boring. I really liked the third one, though. It was fun and had lots of stuff that wasn't in the anime. I found it hard to put down (although, I'm like that with almost anything I read, so that doesn't mean much....... /images/graemlins/sweat000.gif ). Anyway, I'd try the second and third volumes before giving up on it completely (especially if you already have them), but that's just me.
