The character designs look familiar for some reason. Lots of "fluff" shows coming out recently.

TV-Tokyo (http://www.tv-tokyo.co.jp/anime/get-chu/) has opened it's site for this show that has already aired. ppl can probably check some blogs or like at the synop at anfo (http://www.animenfo.com/animetitle,3523,gqfczb,love_ge_chu___m.html) to grasp the gist of what's going on.

Is that an original work or based on a manga or game?

original iirc. however, expect it to be 'based on other animes' /images/graemlins/tongue.gif.

ok. this is a quickie impressions from ep-1.

The Loli-type char-designs are a little generic, simplistic and rather uninspired. Like two to three or four levels down from Amaenaideyo, Mahoraba, Canvas2 and/or Rozen Maiden levels, for instance. The animation is pretty standard budget. Nothing eye-popping. Simple fanservice stuff.

The one that caught my eye was the maid that look like a grown-up Rishu from Mamotte Shugogetten. Not as cute as Rishu, tho.

There are some charms in the comedy and voice-acting, but nothing major like Suzumiya or Girls High. Momoko seems to have some sonic power. The rest of the girls are ok.

It's simple and funny enough, tho, in premise and situations. The train-incident was quite funny.

Fwiw, it seems better and shows more promise of fun than the snoozefest Lemon Angel Project.

That's it.

I thought this show had promise at the beginning--that's until I heard the voice acting of the entire cast. Mitsuishi Kotono and Midorikawa Hikaru are great, but they aren't the stars of this show. Out of the 5 stars, Takamoto Megumi(as Momoko, and by all accounts this is her official debut) sounds spazzy--though she sure knows how to belt; and Sakamoto Azuma (as Onodera Tsubasa, also on debut) sounds like she doesn't know what she's doing.

I know that I'm sounding incredibly jaded, but their voice work so far along with the less-than-well animated cuts and the still generic and bland development so far, it just doesn't make a good show.
