I just read on ANN that 4Kids has lost its rights to Pokemon (thank god) to some company called Pokemon USA, and they will be releasing a series called Pokemon Frontier. What the heck is Frontier and when did that start? How many episodes is/was Advanced?

Pokémon has 434 regular episodes to its name in addition to 19 specials, 8 movies and 1 OVA. 383 of those episodes have aired thus far in North America.
There's nothing new about Frontier apart from it being 'yet another season name' for the show.

The whole lost rights thing is also being discussed in R1 (http://forums.animeondvd.com/showflat.php?Cat=1&Number=1231459&page=0&view=coll apsed&sb=5&o=&fpart=1)

Now if they could just lose their strangle hold rights on Magical Doremi ( /images/graemlins/depresse.gif ) Mew Mew Power ( :power: :power: ), Yu-Gi-Oh and One Piece, we'd get some decent release for those.
