Anybody seen Samurai7? I was wondering which of the samurai out of seven do you like the most? I find them all annoying, but I say Shichijo is probably the the most skilled one and most likeable-personality wise. He's definitely someone I want on my team.

Kambei, he's wise and a skilled fighter with good leadership, but he's such a typical "hero" character. Kambei does have a good sense of humor, but he's kind of boring overall.

Gorobei is an excellent side character in term of skill and personalty, but his whole blood-rush fetesh was really weird. I like his happy outlook though and he's someone that will watch your back.

Hihachi is probably my second favorite samurai. He's the happy-go lucky type but really is a hard working of the bunch. He might not be the most skilled fighter, but he has other ability to make up for it.

Katsushiro was probalby the most annoying character. Not only was he weak and kind of useless, he's a bit whiney and unsure. He's too uptight at times, which makes his personality = generic and annoying. Also he gets the girl, what give?

Kyuzo is the typical silent but deadly "lone wolf" samurai. His skill are unmatch, yet his motive/loyalty is really unpredicatble. Kyzuo is too generic for my taste, he's like Spike with no personality.

Kikuchiyo is pretty annoying, but he does tried hard to fit in. I just wish they could have made him a lot less silly and more serious and deadly character. However, he's a great character and his personality is very enduring at times.

Torn between Kambei's right-hand man, Shichiroji, and Heihachi, the handyman. Going with the happy-go-lucky handyman, Heihachi /images/graemlins/happy.gif

Toss up between Shichiroji and Kiku. Shichiroji won out, due to the fact that he does add a cohesive element to the group. Although I'm not to sure about the 'old wife' refrences. I know it's a battlefield thing and the characters wouldn't be the same without him. As for Kiku I think he adds much needed comic relief, Sure Gorobei is funny, but not in the same bumbling manner that Kiku is and I think he'll play a very pivotal role in the upcoming episodes. As we see in Ep 12 Where he's actually a farmer turned samurai, and therefor can connect with the farmers on their level.

Katsushiro got the girl? Was I watching the wrong series?

I wasn't a huge fan of any of them really... not that it really mattered considering most of them die at the end of the series anyways

A lot of girls in the village likes him because he's a samurai and he's young. He gets the girls, but got no game, just status.

I went with Kikuchiyo.

Kikuchiyo: #1. Some find him annoying, I found him hilarious. He had great moments with Komachi and the way he just lays it all out in Episode 12 is one of the most amazing moments of the series. I was BAWLING when he died at the end.

Heihachi: #2. Great, easy going personality. Him and Shichiroji are near tied, but his cleverness with devices and watching him go through the gear room near the end wins it out. I like it when he goes "Oh-to-to-to-to." when he goes off-balance too. Funny moment when he gets up to dance as well.

Shichiroji: #3. Another easy going individual with a great personality. Hell of a dancer too. His introduction is one of the best I can recall. The cracked animation for it would've been stylish if they hadn't carried it over to other parts of the episode for some odd reason. Ladies man all the way but damn loyal at the same time. Odd mix.

Kambei: #4. Great leader, good sense of humor. Gotta love the chin scratch too. Plays a good teacher and knows when to bitchsmack his pupil. His sense of responsibility is unparalleled, huge point in his favor.

Kyuzou: #5. I thought as most did at first, that he was "Oh, stereotypical silent badass." It's true at first. However, you really see another side of him when they get to the village. He doesn't become chatty, but the little things in his expressions start to change. You can tell he really cares. Helping Katsushiro at the end, as well as everything else there, shows the loyalty he has to the group.

Katsushiro: #6. Whiny little prat that turns into a serious samurai. Good little transformation tale he has. Some pretty hardcore moments too. End makes you wonder what he does with his life after that. Another Kambei? Probably. Definately has the most development out of everyone.

Gorobei: #7. As cool as he is and as much as I like his utterly intense facial expressions... not a lot made him stand out to me.
