Request: Negima! Pactio Cards?

Well, I got an idea for a new anime wallpaper, but I got a slight problem. I'm hoping to do something with the pactio cards from Negima!, but unforunetly I don't have a copy of any of them (just the black and white scans from the manga). So, could someone do me a favor and link we me up with some high-quality scans of the cards so I can try making this wallpaper!

Also, I'm just wondering, but what volume of manga is Negima up to in Japan? I'm just wondering how much longer it's going to run; I'm also kind of wondering if there's any more pactio cards then the ones published a while back (though please dont' spoil me with any details or anything please).

I know it's a lot to request, but I really appriciate any help!

Volume 13 comes out this month, and new volumes usually come out every other month. Akamatsu-sensei has said on his blog that he's not going to worry so much about chapter numbers and giving all the girls a big part in the story and just go at it as it develops. He also says that it will far surpass Love Hina and become a long serialization, so it probably won't stop for another few years.

As for the manga, Volume 14 of Negima just started two weeks ago, with it definitely going to be over 20 volumes long.

Negima is up to chapter 121 as of this week and this will be part of the 14th volume though there are only 12 published. As for how much longer it's going to run, don't expect it to end anytime soon as it's still going strong. Negima is supposed to cover the events of one school year for Negi's class and that year is only half over now. Not too much the current arc which spans only a couple days consists of several volumes worth of story so far.

In regards to pactio cards, I'm assuming you're refering to the black and white scans that are in the US release of the manga? If so, yes, there's tons more. There's even some that haven't even made it into the story yet and a couple that are in the story that haven't been released in colour yet.

Plus, we know for a fact that <span style='color:#dddddd;background:#dddddd'>Mei</span> has a Pactio card as well.

I'm glad to hear that the series is going to keep on going; I'm usually not a fan of harme-esque romantic comedies, but Negima seems to be right up my ally. I'm also surprised how quickly the tanks are being released in Japan, I was kind of afraid we'd end up with a catch up problem where we'd have to wait 5-6 months or more for a new release (like with Hellsing, XXXHolic, etc).

I've seen auctions with a lot more cards than that, for all sorts of characters and multiples for some (the pictues are always to small to make much out though). I haven't a clue where they all come from (or if they're even 'official' at all) but they cost a fair whack.

Yeah, there's been a doujinshi circle that has been selling their own Pactio cards (even for characters like Negi, Nagi, and even a Love Hina character: Kanako) at the past few Comic Markets (and maybe other cons). Cost me about $70 to complete the set. Some of the art isn't too hot, but they're very nicely made.

Why do some of those pactio cards have an alphanumeric string at the bottom instead of the latin like the others?

Those are the anime exclusive cards. I have no idea why they decided to stick random, non-sensical numbers on them though. It kind of ruins them.

Yeah, but the artwork is beautiful so I can't complain. It wouldn't be too hard to Photoshop them to have Latin names and details similar to the manga ones.

Not if you have the actual physical cards though. Like you said, it's a shame as a couple of them are really well done otherwise.

The back cover to tank #13 shows that <span style='color:#dddddd;background:#dddddd'>Sister Kokone (Cocone? the little Sister)</span> also has a Pactio Card. Again, the design on the card isn't shown.
