Who is your favorite Galaxy Angel (version 2)?

With the release of Galaxy Angel A (season 3, part 1) box set, it's another round of who is your favorite Galaxy Angel.

Sadly, my retailer in Canada doesn't have it. So I have to special order for the set. GRR!!!

Rhanpha Framboise: (http://www.broccoli.co.jp/ga/materials/character/chara_ranpha.html) The bratty French/Chinese blonde who goes boy-crazy for the perfect man.

Mint Blancmanche: (http://www.broccoli.co.jp/ga/materials/character/chara_mint.html) The evil short teenager that lets her cosplay fetish goes to the roots of her head (a giggle to a season 3 episode).

Forte Stollen: (http://www.broccoli.co.jp/ga/materials/character/chara_forte.html) The trigger-happy girl who loves nothing more than obiterating Normad.

Vanilla H: (http://www.broccoli.co.jp/ga/materials/character/chara_vanilla.html) The always quiet and cute one, who never returns her love to Normad.

Chitose Karasuma: (http://www.broccoli.co.jp/ga/materials/character/chara_chitose.html) Although she shows up in season 4, she's more evil than Mint.

Mint Blancmanche is my favorite character and I have seen some of season 4 as it were. Bleh I need to start collecting season 2 and season 3. If only I hated more series, I'd have less of a collection back log. In any case my over all preference order.

Well it's all the fault of the other stuff I want. Yeah that's it, I'm innocent. Besides for now Scrapped Princess has priority. The next DVD I get will most likely be volume 6. Even though I still need 2 and 4.

I'm watching some of the third season (Galaxy Angel A) as we speak...er, type, and all I have to say is, "Wow. This season is so much funnier than the last two". Whereas the others have generated some minor chuckles here and there, I've watched 6 episodes now and only one of them I didn't laugh quite a bit at (mostly because I still haven't been won over by the two newcomers yet).

Great stuff though. Recommended all G.A. fans check it out. My vote's for Milfeuile, by the way.

Here's to hoping Bandai also licenses/releases Galaxy Angel AA (second half of the third season) and Galaxy Angel X. Leaving it incomplete would be criminal. No, seriously...I think it's an actual crime. /images/graemlins/wink.gif

I was going to go with Ranpha but I realized that would be a shallow evaluation based entirely on sex appeal. So instead I went the more multi-dimensional character of Forte. After all, Forte is hot AND violent. And tall.

This is slightly off-topic, but I didn't really want to start another thread for it. Has anyone heard if Galaxy Angel AA (second half of 3rd season) has been licensed by Bandai? I can't find confirmation of this on the site.

I'm not sure whether to be hopeful or not. Included as an extra on the final disc of Galaxy Angel A is the first episode of AA (a.k.a. Episode 27). Now it makes sense to me that Bandai wouldn't pay extra for one episode when they could easily license the entire second half...does that make sense?

Anyone have any info or reasonably intelligent speculation about this?

Well Galaxy Angel A came out of nowhere. We only knew for sure that Bandai got it when they solicitated it to retailers a few months ago. If they have the latter seasons (and I really think/hope they do), we'll probably find out in a similar, out of the blue, manner. Best to wait and hope.

As for the original topic, Forte FTW.

At first when I started reading Galaxy Angel (the manga) and watching the first season of the Anime, I gravitated towards Ranpha just beacause she is probably the hottest of the Galaxy Angel girls.

Then as I continue to read the manga and anime, I noticed that I started to move to Vanilla. After all, she has some of the best lines in the entire series. Vanilla (after reading Galaxy Angel B) shows me that she also is one of the best ones in terms of backstory. Her smile is so.....CUTE.
