Is Dark Myth, a Manga release worth buying? Whats the quality like, has Manga's treatment of it been OK?

They didn't do a bad job. The video's in rough shape, due to the masters, but the audio is reasonable and the subtitles actually are subtitles. The dub, despite being a Manga UK dub, isn't bad at all and is free from any real profanity. The extras are sparse but the glossary that's included is well done and informative. As for my thoughts on the show, um, not sure, I think I need to watch it again. /images/graemlins/sweat000.gif

Dark Myth is a weird OVA series. It's kinda like a horror-shinto version of the X-Files. It's not engrossing but not horribly boring either. Unfortunately, while the setup and progression of the story are promising, the climax and resolution are rather flat, ambigious, and disappointing.
