I'd love to hear some thoughts on these 3 shows. Thanks.

only show i've seen is , himm... its lollicious and chalk full of yuri! ganiax show... ending depends on your taste. show is based? on a manga, licensed by tp but in license hell... some dispute.

The only one I've seen some of is He is my Master, which I quit on after 4 episodes. Too ridiculous for my tastes, and I didn't really find much of it all that funny.

I'm liking HIMM. It's got a lot of fast-paced humor, the main guy is the direct opposite of most harem anime leads, the fanservice is good, and the yuri is blatant, albeit one-sided(there are no "shoujo ai undertones". A female character is openly in love, and in lust /images/graemlins/noseblef.gif, with another female character).
The other two are fairly straightforward fanservice shows.

Amaenaideyo was... Well, it's fanservicey fluff from what I can tell. I'm not opposed to this or anything in principle, and I tend to like shows FAR more often than I dislike them, but I only think I lasted an episode and a half of this. Since your tastes seem to be extremely strict (that is, 90% of the time I see you comment on a show it's not positively), I'm thinking you'd loathe this show.
The same might go for HiMM, which I thought was funny enough for what it was. There's a bit too much of the "wacky violence and nudity-but-ooooh-nope!" for you, I'd think. Still, Mitsuki was a really fun character, as was Anna. Izumi was decent enough for her role.

The only negative comments I've really seen are:
1) Lack of a conclusive ending. (Amaenaideyo has this, but there's a second season so there's hope. I haven't read the manga so I don't know how things go on that end)
2) Lack of detailed nudity/nippless fanservice. (all three of them suffer from this)
3) Weak or non-existant shoujo-ai or yuri pairings. (well, HiMM has plenty of Yuri, but it doesn't really go anywhere).
So I'll agree that he probably will have negative things to say about the series in general, but that doesn't mean that he won't at least partially enjoy them. /images/graemlins/sweat000.gif

Those are some of the main things, but whenever there's a thread asking about, say, five different series, he always seems to really lay into *at least* four of them. Some are shows I dislike as well, some are shows I can't fathom someone else disliking. Granted, this isn't anything BAD on his part, of course (well, except when the only comment is on yuri and nipples, but he often goes more in depth than that heh =P). It just seems like he has either very high or very specific standards, I'm not sure which. Maybe both. I'm very, very much different in that I can enjoy just about anything -- and usually do.
Either way, I'm doubtful any of these series would work too well for him, although I've only seen one episode of Koi Koi (and it was forgetable enough that I apparently haven't seen any more).

Koi Koi 7 is a like Train Wreck. For some reason despite the fact it's bad, I still want to keep watching it. Currently I've seen up to episode 9 of the series and Eye Patch Girl has become my favorite. I guess if you try to watch it under the guise of it purposely being bad it's actually okay. If that makes any sense.
I still need to finish "He is my master", but from what I remember it was okay. However it seemed to be the type of show that after watching a few times, I'd put away for a long time and forget about it's existence.
Perhaps sometime in the future, I'll actually check out Amaenaideyo!, but due to the fact I haven't watched any of it yet. I currently have no real opinion on it.

I think some of HiMM has been de-misted for added nipplage as well, as far as the DVD release goes. Not as often to make it particularly worthwhile if you are only in it for that, admittedly.

All of them are terrible, but I like Koi Koi 7 anyway.

Just curious, how much have you seen of Koi Koi 7. It's weird I watched episode 1 and hated it. Then I watched episodes 1-5 and hated. Then later on I watch it again up to episode 9 and now I want to finish the series. Despite it's flaws. There must be something about the series. Maybe I'm just insane.
HiMM is the by far the best of the three. And that isn't saying much.

9 eps as well at the moment. I liked it from the start, though.
Koi Koi 7 is one of the worst shows I've seen to date. Crappy story, crappy charadesign, crappy animations.
Amaenaideyo! is slightly more interesting.
I agree that He is my master is by far the best of all three. At least it made me laugh (Pochi!) and I am interested in checking out the manga by TP. I doubt that the DVD release added nipples since the manga doesnt have any either unless someone proves me wrong.
Of course there are expections like Girls Bravo (although the anime looks (and is?) VERY different from the manga version).

You've made me get the DVDs out just to make sure I wasn't imagining it. Basically, if anything was above the thick level of mist in the bathing scenes they'd use something to cover it up (hair or plants were common), and a lot of the bathing scenes were shot at angles where you wouldn't be able to see nipples anyway, but there are a couple of places with clearly visable nipples - from the episodes I've quickly scanned, the bathing scene in the second half of the last episode is the most obvious. and thats only one shot (of Izumi and Takami). I'm sure there were a couple of other places this happens (I only remember because I was surprised to see it on the DVD version, since it wasn't in broadcast), but as I mentioned before its not really anything significant. There are a few other animation tweaks here and there aside from nipples - panties visable in upskirt shots where it was shadowed out before and the like. The DVD version only seems to use the unedited version of the OP as well (they removed the chains from Izumis schoolgirl bunny outfit after episode 6 of the broadcast version, due to events in Japan at the time).

I finally got a chance to watch all of the 1st season of Amenaideyo! And guess what, despite all the negative buzz about this show, I ended up enjoying this a lot. The ecchi humor had me laughing as loud as when I was watching Goldenboy . I all the ecchi situations and whenever the main character gets horny and he starts going supersaiyan (or something like that) HILARIOUS! In fact, I enjoyed this show better than the Tenchi series (the reason for the comparison should be obvious) and I think the Tenchi series would be better if Tenchi Masaki had been more like this main character and been a total lecher. I love the female characters too. And I love the theme song (I can't stop saying,"Ike!"
Only drawback - the nippleless breasts which I hate in anime. /images/graemlins/depresse.gif How is it that when they are clothed, we can see the shape of the nipples but when they are disrobed, the nipples disappear?
I'll be looking forward to the second season.

Koi Koi 7: I watched the first two episodes and was kinda on the fence about it. Yes, it's cliched. Yes, the story is something we've seen a thousand times before. Yes, the characters are pretty much exactly as they are in other series. Other than that, it was pretty interesting. I can't remember why I didn't go on with the following episodes, but I'm sure I had my reasons back then.
He Is My Master/Kore Ga Watashi no Goshujin-sama: I saw all 12 episodes and even though most of the characters annoyed the hell out of me, I couldn't stop watching. I felt so bad for Izumi, she was surrounded by so many idiots and the "love story" between her and Yoshitaka was a little drawn out. I wanted to strangle her parents, but eh, anime isn't known for featuring the brightest adults. The art and the character design were the high points of this series, IMO.
The eechi will drive you insane. They dangle it right in front of you, but never will you see anything beyond cleavage.

Fake nipples built into the clothes. OK, I am kidding. But I actually have seen them in real life.
I share the complaint about nippleless breasts. I do not need to see bare breasts in anime, but if I am going to see them I would like them to look realistic. These "Barbie boobs" a just a distraction.
Show me all of the boob or don't show me the boob at all.
Anyhow, this show does seem interesting enough that I plan to check it out if it gets licensed here.

If you haven't already, watch the OVA series Photon (http://www.animeondvd.com/reviews2/disc_reviews/551.php). The character design isn't particularly realistic - the hero looks a bit like Astroboy - but female breasts are drawn in loving detail. The show somehow glorifies ecchi without ever straying into hentai territory. It's great slapstick humor and much more fun than some of the recent titles in that category. [Sorry, I haven't seen any of the shows in the OP's inquiry. I just had to comment about "Barbie boobs". /images/graemlins/sdsmiley.gif]
