In Summary:
Though this opening volume of 2nd GIG does play it a little safe in a few regards, it still proves to be a series of the highest calibre. As such, it’s easy to recommend since when you watch you can just become totally engrossed in the experience, the setting, the characters and the story. The production values, likewise, are superb and there’s really little to dislike here. Based on this disc, I’m confident this season will live up to the first, if not surpass it.

I'll try vol.1 then. UK discs can always be returned for a refund.

As far as I can tell, this release is as near-perfect as Manga can get. The subtitles are much better, all timed just fine and a bit thicker and bigger than those from the first season. The menus are easier to navigate, there are more helpful chapter stops in episodes, and it's just a more polished package than before. I guess my only gripe is the lack of a Play All feature and the previously mentioned logo that plays before each episode, but it's really more a minor irritation that anything to stop me from buying the rest, which I'll be doing. I'd say this was definitely worth a purchase in all.
