Apparently Junk Boy is very similiar to Golden Boy and was thinking about picking up the old vhs release just to be random.

YEARS AND YEARS ago. I was rather amused, but it was VERY late at night and I was REALLY tired. (Mind you, boobies didn't hurt either.)

If you find a copy cheap, go for it.

I saw it a long time ago. Not nearly as funny as Golden Boy, but still funny in a low way. Lots of boner jokes as I recall and a softcore sex scene near the end. It all depends on how much the tape costs. If it's like $1, go for it, if it's much more, then I'd say pass.

Can't say I liked this one. It's pretty low humour throughout. I watched it once, and never went back.

But yeah if it's that cheap, go for it.

I think you're very generous in comparing this with Golden Boy. I bought this as the bargain bin years ago and I don't think it's even worth paying $1. The jokes were stale and unfunny and considering that I normally love anime with perverted jokes, that's saying a lot.

It was bought for me as a "gag" gift awhile back and I have to say that the only good part was the boobs and the "soft-core" sex scene at the end, but if you really want that just drop your money on a hentai instead. D- overall if you ask me.
