So there was an ad for this one in an insert in my Berserk Collection case. Anyone seen it? Is it good? And for that matter, how is Knight Hunters? And lastly, just so I can fit this into one post, does Escaflowne live up to the hype and how about s-Cry-ed?

AVOID URDA! Tis not traditional anime...but a overall poor 3D CG short show. Well...maybe the CG was good for its time..but I say it sucks today. I mean, it has some action and whatnot....but it is definitely not something to pay much money for.

Escaflowne is "meh" IMO...yet s-Cry-ed is pure awesomeness incarnate. Dunno about Knight Hunters cept I've heard many were disappointed in it.

Escaflowne is one of the better fantasy/mech series out there. It's got giant mech's, cat girls & wolf boys, descendants of Atlantis and music by Yoko Kanno. I'd put it on a par with series like Inu Yasha, maybe better.

It's also coming out in April as a complete collection on the Bandai Essential Anime line for less than half the price I paid for my digipack collection so it's definitely a good buy.

In my experience no ones had anything good to say about Urda or Knight Hunters. I saw Escaflowne a while back id defiantly recommend skipping it HUGE disappointment. S-Cry-ed is pretty good though.

Thanks for helping me skip some potential duds guys. I love that I have this site and forum to keep me from making uninformed purchases. Nothing worse than buying an anime, bringing it home, getting settled, fixin some popcorn or a snack, only to be dissapointed.
