I did a search on this first so please don't chastise me if this has been asked. Is this release edited? I'm a little worried cause they're using the name of the edited anime for the manga release. Thanks a bunch.

In terms of contents, no, it's not edited. It does use the altered names (that sucks, especially in the case of one of the gold saints, where his name or nickname is derived from what he did, and with the changed name I have no clue what they did there). The translation is shoddy as well.
