I would buy more DVD's in the UK if there were more boxsets available with bonus goodies like shirts etc.

The companies are probing the marketplace. They'll come, don't worry.

Recently there was a few vol1+box from MVM, as well as a few with bonus items. We're just a bit behind the US on demand, so supply will be lower.

I'd rather they work on culling the time gap between US and UK releases myself but since a few of them are allready starting to manage this (MVM and Manga spring to mind) then perhaps they'll work on extras next.

I only start a new series if there's a box with disc 1 - otherwise I wait for sales or go to Region 1. A shame, but I just like having boxes and complete sets over row upon row of singles. The recent release of Paranoia Agent by MVM is truly excellent - I'm so glad I missed the R1 release and chose this because it had a box for I wouldn't have seen such a great show otherwise.

I just wish they would release series quicker, one example is ROD TV which seems to be taking forever. I know i could go region 1, but since i bought the first 4 volumns from region 2 i'll carry on.

A lot of MVM releases are late because of a warehouse fire their had suppliers had a few months ago. If you do a search of the forums <or wait for some other kind person who knows the full details to post> you should be able to find the full details of what happened and which titles are affected.

The last year's been pretty good compared to any time before that. We've had Yu Yu Hakusho box and t-shirt, Ikki Tousen/Battle Vixens box and manga and the .hack box with the figurine. (also boxes of Paranoia Agent, Sailor Moon and Lumar Legend Tsukihime)

It might not be up the standards of the US, but it's definitely a start!
