Urd is serious about this latest threat as Nicholas D. Wolfwood from Trigun is called in to shoot down the ecchi destroyers as they attempt to make their way to the LBJ (Lusty, Busty, and Jolly) Bar. Wolfwood packs a full arsenal of guns and other weapons and has his sights on taking down the queen of the ecchi destroyers, Mahoro. Lucy/Nyu from Elfen Lied is also called in to help fight the oncoming onslaught with her rage towards most humans. The battle ends in a stalemate, but Lucy/Nyu is shot in the head by one of Triela's bullets. Wolfwood carries her back to the LBJ Bar, where she wakes up and starts acting like a child. The girls ask her to become the bartender for the bar and have Lust train her, as they have found out how bad she can be in a fight after taking a shot to the head. Alucard is a bit wary of Wolfwood with his cross in two and tells him to keep the cross away from him.

Miyuki needs books for ideas on how to design battle vehicles to merge with the upgraded Alphonse (Noa's Labor). Michelle comes driving into the warehouse with a truckload of books she just bought and they find some books in her massive haul with some excellent ideas. Miyuki asks Michelle if she can redesign the truck she brought in. Michelle says no because she rented the truck and had to return it once the books were unloaded. So Miyuki finds some metal laying around and designs a new vehicle with some plans that were in one of the books Michelle brought for her. When Michelle returned from taking the truck back to the rental shop, Miyuki shows her the plans for her new vehicle. Michelle likes the vehicle that she designed with an expandable flatbed in the back that could carry as little or as much as she wanted up to 5 tons and enclose the materials inside the bed.

Just as Aoi was about ready to start cooking class for the group, the kitchen was raided and cleaned out of its food. Over by the fridge, passed out was a pink haired girl with marks on her forehead. Aoi woke the girl up and asked her what happened in the kitchen. The girl introduced herself as Miharu Sena Kanaka and told her she was hungry, saw the food and ate up whatever fod was there. Aoi then told the group that everyone was going to the store to buy groceries so that cooking class could begin. When the group returned from shopping, they found a book that somehow found its way into the bag. It was Fukuyama's dating book that he gave to Miharu and everyone skimmed through the book. If Lamhirh is looking to avoid a split vote, my suggestion would be to pick Naru Narusegawa from Love Hina if Lamhirh would be trying to advance my storyline for the team. Naru is pretty much like Kirie when it comes to guys acting ecchi (Punch first, ask questions later) but without the huge melons that Mahoro might have difficulty looking past.

Aside from that, wouldn't picks be taking longer now anyway because we are getting into the later rounds. I'm surprised that only one series is retired and two other series are one pick away from retirement at this stage. Right now, it seems like we are making good time. I figured that the draft phase would take about five weeks from the start of round 2 (1-15-2006), meaning the drafting phase should be complete around the 19th or 20th of this month and the voting phase complete in March by Selection Sunday for the NCAA tournament (3-12-2006). The draft phase is now in the third week with a little less than four rounds to go.

*grin* Keeping you guessing, eh? Actually, no, I wasn't planning on drafting Kirie. As you can see by the Skuld/Bell in round 1, I'm not worried as much about splitting a vote as drawing a certain audience each round.

Oddly enough, the same Skuld/Bell face-off happened in round 1 last year. I think they both did reasonably well if I remember correctly.

After a long day recovering from the battle with Wolfwood and Lucy/Nyu, another visitor drops by the Misato house. Mink, a dragon half arrives to offer her services in the battle to destroy ecchi thoughts. Mink promises to burn through her opponents as they attempt to do ecchi things to the team. Just then, a messenger stops by and tells the group that Suguru is being held hostage at the LBJ (Lusty, Busty, and Jolly) Bar. Mahoro is infuriated because she sent him out on some errands while the group was fighting the last battle and has not returned. The next offensive is ready to begin.

TnAdct1: Anyways, for my pick, I decided to go with someone that is a mix of everything. He’s a prodigy, teacher, ninja, and hentai fan all rolled into one. With the 5th pick of the 7th round of 2006 Anime Draft, TnAdct1 has chosen Kakashi from Naruto. By the way, I intentionally arrived late in order to stay true to Kakashi.

After Lina cleaned out the restaurant of all its food, the group started making its way back to their base. En route, the team is ambushed by Kakashi, who tests the group to see if it is worth him joining up. He hands Nodoka his book "Make-Out Paradise" for her, Chiyo-Chan, and Tomoyo to read because he wants to test their minds after the battle with a written test. Nabeshin, Maes, and Lina, however must fight Kakashi and try to defeat him. As Nabeshin and Maes distract him with their attacks, Lina unleashes the Giga Slave on Kakashi, defeating him. Kakashi later wakes up from the blast and agrees to join up with the team. After he had recovered, he administered the written test to Chiyo-Chan, Tomoyo, and Nodoka, who all passed easily.

ibby is on the clock. How is the recipe for the melon flavored, donut shaped pocky stick coming along? Will anything else be made by this group to sell at the shops for people to eat?

That's why the test was a written test. Any other way would be worse. After the test, Nabeshin managed to get a hold of that book and started talking smack to Kakashi and yelled at him for giving the girls that book. Later, Nabeshin is found reading the book intensely himself as he is busy drumming up ideas for his next series.

This crew will have no trouble getting their creation out into the marketplace with all that firepower that is packed in Team ibby. Natsuki Kuga is the second of the fast poll participants to be drafted and narrowly missed getting in for the last spot in the main draft. With this pick brings yet another gun to the squad, which these people will be using to force people to eat their melon flavored, donut shaped pocky.

Haruko finally has someone better for doning her grunt work. With Ichigo Kurosaki from Bleach now a part of the team, Haruko's guitar will be working overtime trying to unleash the death god inside of Ichigo on the Count. Her first attempts meet with unsuccessful results, until she learns of a mark that needs to be put on her guitar in order to release Ichigo from his body to do death god work. Haruko gets the necessary work done and unleashes the death god Ichigo on the Count. Ichigo defeats the Count and returns to his body. Later, Ichigo tells Haruko about a ball he can swallow that will release him from his body and let his human body continue to function.

They're split personalities. The constant switching between the two drastically different personalities is a very big element of Elfen Lied's story. Lucy is the original personality, and she's viciously cruel &amp; violent; Nyu is innocent and child-like, and she has none of Lucy's memories. She doesn't know about Lucy's existence, and she has no idea of what she does as Lucy. Usually the character is referred to as either Lucy/Nyu or just Lucy, since Nyu isn't the original.

Batou is busy working on his Tachikomas while the rest of the group (except for Faye) is out having dinner. Priss drives up to the base on her motorcycle and asks Batou to tune it up because the engine doesn't feel right to her. Batou agrees to work on the motocycle and completes the work before everyone came back. With time to kill after fixing Priss' motorcycle, Batou and Priss decide to go for a ride. While riding, they pass by Faye, who is returning home after Batou left her in a hotel the night before. Faye sees him on the motorcycle and is pissed. Faye arrives back at the base and tells everyone that Batou is cheating on her. The rest of the group doesn't care because Faye has been so bad to them for a while now.

Before I announce my 7th round selection, I would like to address some of the issues my group seems to be having, as reported by Draft Coresopndent Victor Lewandowski.

Apparently, something of a triangle has come about between Asuka, Edward, and Sanosuke. At first, I and some other members of our group, found the antics of Asuka and Ed amusing. When Sanosuke came along we thought things would settle down a little bit.

Unfortunately, this was not the case. Asuka continued to pester Edward, constantly pointing out his small stature and making cracks about how he was less of a man in comparison to Sanosuke.

Things came to a head a couple days ago, in an altercation at a local restaurant. This was a rather embarrassing situation for all us. Especially for Chrono, who was just introduced as our newest member just a few hours earlier. He ended up being dragged into that crazy soap-opera-esque moment. Since then, he has been slow to warm up to the group.

So, to nip this problem in the butt. My 7th round pick is being brought in to handle the situation as they see fit. Even if the situation doesn't get totally resolved, She'll at least get a couple Guinea Pigs out of it. /images/graemlins/devil.gif

Washu also serves a couple other roles such as <span style='color:#dddddd;background:#dddddd'>one of the three goddesses in the Tenchi series (along with Tsunami and Tokimi) and mother to a child whose descendants would be the heads and officers of the Galaxy Police</span>. In essence, The Major and Natsumi have a new boss that they must work under. Ed and Chrono have a good chance at getting their ailments cured (after Washu toys with them a bit). Asuka will finally learn the true mysteries of Eva that have been kept from her all this time. Sanosuke will get an upgrade blade to his zanbato as the team must now work together and get along or Washu will have some strange creature to transform them each into as everyone on the team will be getting body enhancements done to lengthen their lifespan and strength.

Another judge for the swimsuit competition and this time he's old school. Char Aznable from Mobile Suit Gundam has our female contestants wondering what hides behind that mask. With another guy for the girls to hook up with, Madoka beats everyone to Char with her old school charm. Lafiel and Rosette are left to fight over Shigure while Maya has Brandon clinging to her. Will another guy step in for Lafiel and Rosette to stop their fighting?

As for Narob and forecasting his inevitable delay, unless he picks in the next couple of hours, I wouldn't expect a pick from him until late tonight after the game or tomorrow morning before 12 Noon EST.

Outside, Kaname, Motoko, and Kaoru were training for the war ahead. As their training session got more intense, the girls started to shed their clothes. Motoko was about to take a swat at Kaoru with her sword when another girl appeared out of the bushes. Her name was Arcueid and she had just been cut in the shoulder by Motoko's blade. After tending to Arcueid's wound, Arcueid asks to join up with the group. The four decide to head back inside the Morisato house for the night to find Belldandy with dinner ready as if she were expecting company. Yomiko and Lavie helped Belldandy with the preparations for the guests. After the seven enjoyed a nice dinner, it was time for bed. So he didn't bite on my Naga suggestion. But I still like this pick. Unless someone of age with bigger cans strolls in within the final three rounds, Excel from Excel Saga will fill the role of Fujiko for this team of outlaws right now. Ilpalazzo is happy to be rid of his worst agent and starts his romance with Hyatt without worrying about Excel intruding. Gene decides to put Excel inside the tank and use her to operate the Outlaw Star, but the real reason for putting her in there was /images/graemlins/noseblef.gif /images/graemlins/noseblef.gif /images/graemlins/noseblef.gif . Pacifica and Sana object to this for that very reason. Lupin, Inuyasha, and Jin don't seem to care one way or another and Excel is now sent to help Pacifica and Sana in the kitchen.

Finally, team 'Roids has a real doctor as Souichiro Arima joins the team. Coming from a family with a vast history in the medical field, Arima decides to use those couple rotten people (Dr. Hirasaka and Kamiri) in the back room for organ harvesting and donate their organs to the scientific community. Kino ends up shooting Kamiri and both Hirasaka and Kamiri's bodies are put into body bags which are hooked onto Hermes. Arima then asks Kino to drop off the cadavers at the hospital with instructions on what to do with the cadavers. With the filth removed from the team 'Roids base, the group gives the base a thorough cleaning. After the cleaning is done, everyone sits down for a nice tasty dinner as Kino has just returned from her disposal job.

Every male that has come onto this team seems to be more convincing than the last when it comes to wearing a magical girl costume. Unlike Mugen, who is getting constantly laughed at in his costume, or Shinji, who doesn't look as bad as Mugen but still complains about the dress, Momiji Sohma is used to wearing these kinds of clothing as he dresses like a girl all the time. Instead of being forced to work in the fields like Mugen or Shinji, Momiji becomes Sakura's snugglebunny. Duck and With are jealous because Sakura has a new playmate inside the house.

If there is one thing that I can pull out of this team, it is that everyone on this team has an agenda that they would rather everyone else on the team not know about. Soubi Agatsuma from Loveless is no different as he has mysteries within his own past. However, his behavior may need to be monitored around these guys as there are hints that he likes boys.

Dilandau Albatou from Escaflowne will be a handful for the other children to handle as he dreams up insane plans for the Bebop to go into battle. Kenshin is busy filming Kanako's four-way scene with Winry, Anita, and Tohru. Koyomi Mizuhara happened to walk in on the set and put her hand on the lens. Kenshin is then jabbed in the stomach by Yomi before he can complain. Kanako looks over and sees that filming has stopped for the moment and goes to talk to Yomi. Yomi is pissed off that they would even be shooting this scene. Kanako decides to make Yomi take her place in the shoot while she shoots the film.
