What is the R2J release of Variable Geo Neo like compared to the original VG OVA, Ikkitousen & Tengo Tenje?

I've never seen it, but I'm guessing it has a lot more sex in it than the other three you listed.

Unlike the other's VGNeo is a hentai. It's not a very good one either. Basically Milky took the animated scenes from the game and strung them together very cheaply into an anime. It would be better to get the game than to buy the hentai. It was extremely disappointing for me since I was expecting a lot more from it.

Basically it was a quick way to cash in on the game being released.

Haven't seen the anime, but like Gatts said, just pick up the game. It was released on the PS (maybe Saturn too?) and I got mine recently for about £6 or £7 on eBay.
It's also Japan-only so you'll need a PS chip or whatever.

The video game you are thinking of is Advanced Variable Geo. Variable Geo Neo is only on PC.

Super Variable Geo was released on the Super Famicon and PC Engine in 1995. Advanced Variable Geo was released on the Playstation in 1996 and on the Saturn in 1997. Advanced Variable Geo 2 was released on the Playstation in 1998. Variable Geo Neo is a 2004 game with different characters and is only on the PC.
