It seems that the previous Columbia House thread has fallen off the face of the Retail Forum. To continue, Columbia House offers some more FUNimation anime titles in addition to the ones listed before, as well as some CPM anime titles. CH now also carries Inuyasha singles that are avaiable as part of the enrollment package.

For the best savings, read the following at DVDTalk:
Columbia House Strategy Guide (for new and returning customers) (http://www.dvdtalk.com/forum/showthread.php?t=449247)
Columbia House Strategy Guide II (for returning customers) (http://www.dvdtalk.com/forum/showthread.php?t=453204)

The new single listings:

FUNimation:
Yu Yu Hakusho Vol. 1-16
Yu Yu Hakusho Vol. 20-28
Case Closed: Case (Season) 1 - Vol. 1
Case Closed: Case (Season) 2 - Vol. 1-4
Shaman King Vol. 1 & 2

CPM:
Virgin Fleet
Iczer Reborn
Angel Sanctuary
Black Jack: Biohazard
Labyrinth of Flames
Cat Soup
M.D. Geist Director's Cut
Patlabor Vol. 10
Narutaru Vol. 2

Viz:
Inuyasha Vol. 1-18

There are probably more that I overlooked, but these are what caught my eyes.

When I did my two sign ups back in December, as soon as I got access to the web site I went in and declined the director's selection. Been checking the sites since then and declining them as they come up. They just sent one anyway and charged my card. /images/graemlins/anger200.gif

Anyone else have this problem?

I had that happen once, but not recently, at the time I was pretty sure that I had declined it. When it's delivered, don't open it, just write "refused" on the package and stick it in a mail box. CH will get it and issue a refund.

Looks that way. Just like they skipped the first four volumes of The Galaxy Railways and the first ten volumes of Boys Over Flowers.

FMA volumes 6 and 7 is now available so you can get volumes 1-8. Plus volume 6 of Burst Angel of there as well. Wish they would get more Samurai 7 and start up some Kodachi.

All mine were fine, both the stuff I got as my enrollment order and the the LotR box sets and special edition stuff purchased later. Exact same ones that I saw in stores.

Just looking at it and the selection is basically the same, just FMA DVD5-6 only /images/graemlins/cry00000.gif /images/graemlins/cry00000.gif I really wanted that series...anyway, I looked at Burst Angel DVD 1-3 Galaxy Railways DVD 1-3 And Tokyo Godfathers. Well the total SAYS 47.70 or something like that....but I'm sure that the shipping is WAY higher! Could I be wrong?

BTW, How are the series' i mentioned? Worth watching?
Oh ya, the shipping was about 6.90!
AND if you cancel your membership when the DVD's come, do you have to order 8?

You have to buy however many the coupon you enrolled under tells you to order. Usually at least 2-3 more after the initial order.

Are you just starting up? I mean when I started I got the intial 7 DVDs for around $14 I believe with shipping included. Then waited for a buy one get one free coupon with free shipping to get last two I needed for my contact. Actually got four DVDs (two at regular club price and two free) for a total of 11 titles for around $56 all together.

Look at those DVDTalk links to max out your savings.
