What, if any, anime series have tributes, scenes, characters, music, plots influenced by Gerry Anderson series, both "Supermarrionation" & live action.

Well most trivially, there was Thunderbirds 2086.

Try Brave of the Sun: Fighbird, the hangars and lunch sequences come close to outdoing some of Andersons own.
There's also the most recent transformers show: Galaxy Force which had a secret base in the early half of the series.
I can't recall any others off the top of my head but I'm sure I've watched other similar things in the past.
Ironically I haven't seen Thunderbirds 2086.

One episode of Patlabor TV has a dream sequence that borrows heavily from UFO. And I think there's another dream sequence in the OVAs that also uses some UFO imagery (but is really more of a take-off on Ultraman).

Loads of shows with silly launch sequences, notably I'd say Evas Tokyo-3 is more than a little inspired by the likes of Stingray and Thunderbirds.

Firestorm. (http://www.animenewsnetwork.com/encyclopedia/anime.php?id=2546) Not a very good show though.

Has to be mentioned, even if it isn't anime, but X-Bomber (aka Starfleet) must be one of the most influenced show.
Oh how I wish for a legitimate english language DVD release of that show (even better if it came with subbed versions of material that got edited out).

Makes me wonder if Gerry Anderson has ever been influenced by Japanese shows, considering how many Sentai type shows use model effects like his. Terrahawks would seem a possible show to have asuch influence to my mind, though it could jsut be the coloruing of the ships being a little like zords.

From what I've read, a number of Gerry and Sylvia Anderson's show were very popular in Japan and this shows up in quite a few series.
In particular, the distinctive green form of Thunderbird 2 crops up quite frequently. For instance, in UY, the episode where Ataru gets a part-time job in an alien bath-house, we see TB-2 (amongst other craft) when he is swimming underwater through to the women's side. In Mouse, in the second episode, when Mouse goes down to his underground complex, we see not only the distinctive green tailplane of TB-2 but also something that looks similar to the Mole, one of the lesser machines sometimes carried by TB-2.
And in one of the island episodes of Nadia, there is a sequence that is such a steal from Thunderbirds as to be practically actionable. Not only do we see a vehicle that's a dead ringer for the Mole, and another fat green aircraft, but we see almost the full TB-2 launch sequence complete with hinged palms trees, opening cliff face and raised launch ramp.
But the episode that borrows from more Anderson shows than any other is probably the CLAT episode from Patlabor #11. Not only do we get another launch sequence borrowing from Thunderbirds, plus purple haired girls from UFO, but there's also multiple steals from Captain Scarlet, including the CLAT uniforms, the land vehicles, and even the characters themselves: Clancy as Capt. Scarlet, Shinohara as the blond Capt. Blue, Shinshi as Lieut. Green, Yamazaki as Capt. Brown , and even a white-haired Goto as the (also white-haired) Colonel White. I nearly fell out of my chair watching this, I was laughing that hard.
Apart from the above, I sure I've seen other shows that borrow ideas such as the way the Tracy boys reached there various aircraft in Thunderbirds - IIRC, something reminiscent of this is used in one of the Galaxy Angel episodes.

I remember as a child seeing a competition in some magazine or other relating to a possible cartoon version of Thundebirds, and I was sure there already was one. I felt redeemed when I found a Thunderbirds 2086 VHS in a newsagent bargain rack.
I'm pretty sure there's been at least one TB reference in Paniponi Dash.

I seem to remember an episode out of the Pretty Sammy OVAs that had a visual reference to the unique "portrait" communication screens used in Thunderbirds. I could be wrong, however.

In Gatchaman, Joe sort of does a low tech reverse version of the Thunderbird 2 entrance when he joins up with the Godphoenix.

Gunbuster has a couple of homages to Gerry Anderson stuff.
- Noriko wears a shirt with the word SID on the front.
- the JAL space shuttle looks a bit like the Fireflash
- the computer board on the Excelion looks like the computers found at SHADO's moonbase
Found the above info in Sound Collection of Gunbuster CD set liner booklet.
Also there was (I think) a dream sequence by Jean in Nadia where the Thunderbird 2 vehicle shows up.
Wandaba Style, IMO, borrows a little from Thn=underbirds.
