Oh dear...

I absolutly hated the ending for this show, Sasshi was an absoulte selfish jerk, I'm not going to go into my impressions as I'll just end up on my soap-box about it, suffice to say when I originally saw the series (fansubs) through, the ending went as far as to put me off ever watching the Abeno' ever again.

I'd agree with you there, though. The parody episodes were great fun the first time through, but don't really stand up to being re-watched, while the story they tried to inject into it just didn't work for me. Disappointing series overall, and after such a good start too. One of the few series I've ebay'ed after buying the whole thing...

Yeah I found it disappointing... I really liked some of the individual episodes and the journey along the way, as I said in the review, but the ending was just stupid and pulled the series down for me. Could've been harsher with the grades but thought it was unfair to the episodes that were good, but I doubt I'll rewatch it anytime soon.
