Ayumu "Osaka" Kasuga (Azumanga Daioh) - I guess Osaka can be moe in a way... enough for me to justify voting for her! I actually expect her to lose though.
Angelica (Gunslinger Girl) - Angelica is very moe.
Azmaria Hendric (Chrono Chrusade) - I still need to finish this... Azmaria is also moe though.
Nayuki Minase (Kanon) - Caus.

Despite the hyping of Nodoka vs. Osaka, there was never any doubt for me. Honya-chan is one of the standard holders for moe. Go Nodoka.

Nadoka (Negima) - Osaka may be spacy and charming, but she's not what I consider a moe character. This match is as overhyped as Bode Miller. /images/graemlins/icon_rolleyes.gif
Mutsumi Orihime (Love Hina) - Ouside probably of Henrietta, I can't picture any of the Gunslinger Girls as having moe characteristics.
Azmaria Hendric (Chrono Crusade) - No contest. Have to go with my girl Az! /images/graemlins/sdsmiley.gif

Yuuna Kashiwagi (Pani Poni Dash!) - Same as Angelica, I can't picture the Gunslinger Girls as moe.

Shipon Katase (Stellvia) - Tough choice. Both are darling characters, but Shipon's attitude is more moeish than Nana. Nana can put up a fight when she has to; whereas Shipon is a little timid.

Ren (DearS) - I love Misuki, and she's a great Angelic Layer player (and I believe Misaki was Jessica Boone's first lead role), but Rennie is clearly the most moe. No contest.
Raquel Cassul (Scrapped Princess) - Belldandy is one of the nicest characters in anime, but the Goddesses are not moe characters. Raquel isn't moe either, but she's the better chioce IMHO.

Lou Roux (Goddannar) - At first, I wasn't going to vote for Lou because I felt that her rebellious nauture wasn't what you consider moe. But after reviewing her tragic background and watching her episodes, my views of Lou change.

Love Hina went 3-for-3 in this round, the Ichigo Mashimaro machine keeps rolling, and as I expected the Nodoka-Osaka match wasn't really close. Nice to see both Azmaria and Ren advance, but I'm afraid that Ren's stay in the tounament will come to an end against the vastly popular Belldandy.

My semis outlook:

Azmaria in two routs. Group IV is almost Azmaria's to win. Anna Coppola or Nadoka will have a difficult time trying to beat Az.

Nayuki/Treila/Nyamo/Moe

Yawn. Whoever escapes here is fodder for Az. Anyway, I'll bet on Treila. If Moe wins this foursome, then there is something truly wrong in the world.

Shippon/Kasumi/Sarara/Hazuki

Shippon, easy.

Ren/Belldandy/Yurie/Lou

Whoever wins the Ren/Bell match should easily take the winner of the Yurie/Lou match. My money is on Bell-sama.
