I asked about Karin in the jpg-orgy, but no response.

I won't be getting Karin-R2 until it hits ep-10 and above.

I will be getting the vol 1 LE in the next few weeks. What did you want me to check for when I get it? Just for mail-in certificates or anything else?

According to the offical site, it looks like the send away item will be a puppet. Also says something about getting a CD when you buy DVD 3.

All of them are coming with CDs that have interviews with voice actors.

since the Vol.1 Le has a first press and it seems its running out, I have bought it and kept it in my order that will ship later next month so that I have time to decided, as someone just mentioned that it gets 'tons' better after episode 10...I will watch the Fansubs up until episode 14 or so, and If it is any good I will buy the LEs, the puppet is Bogi, Anju's Doll.

Does anyone know if the mail in coupons come with both the limited and regular editions, or just the limited editions?

I actually meant to do this at some point last week but... laziness... /images/graemlins/sweat200.gif

DVD-BOX 1, Vol. 1 & 2 + cut-out (http://www.relentlessness.com/anime/karin/karin_vol1+2_box+covers.jpg)
LE contents (and the other side of the box) (http://www.relentlessness.com/anime/karin/karin_vol1+2_extras.jpg)
Cases + Bonus CDs (http://www.relentlessness.com/anime/karin/karin_vol1+2_case+cd.jpg)
Reversible Covers + DVDs (http://www.relentlessness.com/anime/karin/karin_vol1+2_rev_cover+dvd.jpg)

To explain the contents a bit, the bonus CD is sort of like a radio talk show, with different segments featuring different actors and guests. "Wakuwaku Karin Land" is the main booklet in each volume - 32-page full-colour with various screenshots, character info, interviews, little games... pretty neat. The other full-colour insert you see has to do with the "Dragon All-Stars" cards that are included (2 cards/vol.) - the insert with the first volume seems to have instructions on how you play the game using those cards. The last two inserts are your standard questionaire, and the send-in cards for the doll, as was already explained in the thread (LE-exclusive offer).

Getting on-board the release train for another of these Kadokawa 2/disc LE releases always seems like a costly endeavour, but I'm a completionist, so here we go! /images/graemlins/sweat000.gif If anyone wants a better picture or a scan of anything, just ask.

Relentlessflame: which LE exclusive thread are you referring to?

Also, I have the Le Vol.1 of Karin, and I was wondering when will the send-in post card be included, as with Jigoku Shoujo, the send-in comes with Vol.1, however Karin didnt. so will it come with volume 6?

thanx

Ah, I meant that, as you already said (in this thread), the send-in offer does appear to be LE-exclusive; sorry for the confusion. And yeah... I expect that the card will come with volume 6; if I remember correctly, that's the way they did it with Air and a few others.
