Are these Audio CDs, VCD's or actual DVDs? You need to be more specific.

They are audio CDs. Why would I list them as CDs if they were DVDs?

What mainly went through my mind before clicking on the link "are these possibly bootlegs?".

17 of them were purchased from CDJapan originally, and the other three from Y!J auctions, so you can be sure they are all legit CDs.

What's with all the non paying bidder negatives?
Good luck with getting anyone to bid on your auction, being that you have only ~80% positive rating and no actual pictures of the CD's themselves.
The fact that you don't accept paypal is the nail in the coffin for me and most others I'm sure.

My last negative feedback was almost two years ago. I don't have any negative feedback as a seller. I have no digital camera and so no way of taking any pictures. I'm just not fond of Paypal. I've heard alot of horror stories people have had with it in the past, and as such I have no interest in getting it.

Actually, PayPal isn't bad at all. I use it all the time and never have any problems with it.

There are various problems someone told me there account was closed due to someone else having the same name. I've seen various horror stories as well so your desire to avoid it is understandable. If people weren't so obsessed with only paying with paypal I wouldn't use it on E-Bay.

It's a matter of security. If a buyer uses paypal he is protected by paypal if something goes wrong. If a buyer sends a money order and something goes wrong well they are SOL. On large purchases I make sure to use paypal with my credit card. So if paypal doesn't protect me I can dispute the charges with the credit card company.
I'm not interested in this particular item, just pointing out that the OP is really limiting the amount of bidders that will bid on his auction. At the very least the OP should borrow a digital camera to take a picture of the actual item.

Wow, it's going to be hard to sell them for a decent price because:
- No picture (Usually, by having a picture, you hava a much better chance of getting more bids because people can see what they are bidding on)
- Low positive feedbacks (People don't really care if it was long time ago or not.)
- No Paypal?! (This is a killer right here. I've actually had no problems with Paypal for over a year).
I mean you will get some bids because the starting price is only 1 cent, but don't expect to sell them for a very high price.
I guess I'm kinda repeating what Smashingblue said though.
I highly suggest you to get Paypal as most people prefer to pay using Paypal for security and convenience.

Can you really do this? I thought Paypal acts as the middleman, so when you do charge back, isn't it acutally Paypal who has to return the money to your bank? In that case wouldn't Paypal just go after your account if the seller cash out all the money in his account already?

Paypal doesn't care to go after the person doing the chargeback. They instead will go after the seller and just take it from his/her account. I only know this because I've had it happen to myself, twice. Also it doesn't matter if the seller has cashed out his account or not. First time it happened they made my account have a negative balance and the second time they just took it right out of my bank account. The kicker is they won't give you any information in order to fight the buyer yourself. They say they will continue to fight, but obviously no incentive to do so, as they got their money from me. So even if you have the proof to reverse the chargeback it doesn't matter as Paypal won't do anything with that information.
First time I didn't have proof of delivery, but the second time it happened I did. However the second time I wasn't protected under Paypal's policy, as the buyer wasn't confirmed and verified. Basically they told me it was my fault for accepting money from a non-verified account. In the future they told me only to accept from confirmed and verified paypal accounts.
To this day I still accept money from both types of accounts, but if it happens again I will change over to only verified and confirmed. On items over $100 I usually state that I only accept payment from verified and confirmed accounts.

But you want me to sign up for paypal, eh? I don't understand why you would still use a service that would do something like that. You've sent the item, he's recieved the item, then he uses paypal to take his money back from you. And paypal says it's your fault. Yes, let me go sign up for that right away.

I'm sorry, maybe you missed my statement on requiring verified and confirmed Ebay bidders only? If I would have done this, I would have been covered by Paypal.
I continue to allow non-confirmed paypal bidders on my auctions at my own risk.
I've never had a problem with any disputes I've had with Paypal when I haven't received an item from a seller on Ebay. Either the seller never shipped the item or they never got confirmation and the item was lost in the mail. Most cases the seller just voluntarily refunds the money, but sometimes Paypal had to force the seller to.
To protect myself further as a seller, I offer insurance and it is optional. As long as I get delivery confirmation and show that I shipped the item, then it is the buyer who is SOL. I've never had this happen though.
I find it humorous that you are amazed I still do business with Paypal, when you are wanting buyers to send you a money order which would offer them no protection at all. I could understand if you had a high 90% positive feedback rating, but you don't. You say that it has been all negatives from you buying things, but why would someone want to deal with someone who can't even follow through with payment on auctions they have won?

I thought ebay had a policy in which you can get banned for this if it happen too many times. Why bid on something if you're not going to pay for it.
But I hate ebay's rating anyways because it can be abused. I won an auction and paid right away. The item was never sent for over 3 week and seller provide a false tracking number.
I gave this guy a negative feedback and got my money back from paypal because it seem like he wasn't going to send the item or responde to my email. Seller retaliated by giving me a negative feedback saying I only 2 days and was impatience--which was a lied. Even though I got my money back, seller was able to continue selling with a 85% feedback rating. They should ban the people that fuck up the whole auction community by not going through on their end.

It's supposed to be three non paying bidder strikes and you get banned. The only reason I can think of for the OP not having been banned is that not all the sellers went through with the non paying bidder process. (possibly Ebay not following through with their three strike rule?)
Yes the system can hurt you in that sense, but overall it's a good system. I always leave negative feedback for non paying bidders and about 20% of the time I get a negative in return. I think some of the NPB, don't leave one, because they know I don't deserve one. (which amazes me, being they felt it okay to waste my time by bidding and not paying) I know many sellers and buyers will never leave negative feedback for the fear of receiving a retalitory feedback and that is how the system doesn't work.

Paypal doesn't penalized the person who does chargeback? Maybe the policy changed but when I first started using Paypal, I did a chargeback on a Canadian seller through my credit card company (Paypal didn't bother to get back my money for me: Seller assured and showed me pictures of R1 Fushigi Yuugi dvd sets, sent me dvdrs. Cost me about $350 or $400. Paypal wouldn't help me get back the money. Reason: I received the goods, didn't matter if it was a fraud/bootleg/mispresentation etc). I even sent back the dvdrs via Express Mail (so that I could give my CC company the tracking #) but they were sent back to me since the return address was fake. Well, I got my money back and Paypal suspended my account for getting a chargeback. That account was never returned to me.
I wouldn't use Paypal if there are other online payment services or if majority of Ebayers do not use Paypal.

I shouldn't have said they don't penalize the person doing the charge back. No way for me to know, as I've never done a charge back with paypal. My main point was they take the money away from the seller, if an unconfirmed/unverified bidder does the charge back.

Unfortunately, no. I'm starting to wish I did though.
Do you have a regular camera? If so you could have the prints put onto a CD. If not, buy a disposible camera or digital camera. I would think you'd make your money back.
Edit: Or go to someplace like Kinko's and use their scanner.
