Shiori Misaka (Kanon) vs Alvis E. Hamilton (Last Exile) - Going for the super moe character I know better, or the super moe character I know less? Guess I have to go with Shiori. Neither one lacks moe credentials AT ALL though.

Momo (Angel Tales) vs Tamaki Kosaka (To Heart 2) - I can overlook Tamaki's "sexier" emphasis versus some opponents, but I guess Momo is moe-looking enough for me to send it her way. I seriously considered abstaining at first, but here goes. It was a pain finding more Momo pictures to decide on though.

Uematsu Koboshi (Pita-Ten) vs Marie (Sister Princess) - Koboshi is very moe looking, and the one she's going against seems to be less moe than the other SisPri girls, so I'll give her the nod.

Shia (Pita-Ten) vs Hiyono Yuizaki (Spiral) - Oooh man. Hiyono has had some crazy upsets, and I really do think she's moe (hell I nomnated her), so do I choose her here? Her opponent is oh so moe looking. ...Ok, I'll do it. Hiyono is too awesome~ I don't think she has too much of a chance, but who the hell thought she could beat Misuzu? I mean... MISUZU! The R1/R2 thing can only count for so much of that result, and it's not like Spiral is a wildly popular show around here.

Anna Coppola (Ichigo Mashimaro) vs Azmaria Hendric (Chrono Chrusade) - I think IM has finally run out of luck. But on the other hand... I see this one being close!

Nayuki Minase (Kanon) vs Nyamo (Love Hina) - Easy one.

Shima Katase (Stellvia of the Universe) vs Sarara (Bottle Fairy) - SHIPON IS LOVE! LOOOOOOOVE!

Belldandy (Ah! My Goddess) vs Yurie Hitotsubashi (Kamichu!) - I am very very interested in seeing how this one goes. Belldandy actually struggled a bit against Ren, and Yurie is riding the love wave from Kamichu's license announcement. This could honestly go either way.

Anyway, this will be a very interesting round, and it doesnt look like any of the matches will be too disturbing if they go a certain way -- everyone left is at least somewhat worthy (which sadly cant be said for every bracket!)

Marie actually strikes me as one of the most moe of the SisPri, due to her frail, introverted nature. Only saw the first volume of the series, though, so I'm not sure if any of the characters were developed differently from there. It really interesting that probably most non-moe girl in Sister Princess, Chikage, is voiced by Ayako Kawasumi (given how many moe characters she has and how much of it is in Sister Princess, it's definitely one of her most out-of-type roles).

Entirely possible, as I haven't seen SisPri. I wonder if I should, after how I've been voting in this tournament, but all I've ever heard is that it's pretty damn terrible /images/graemlins/sweat000.gif Dunno.

Not really terrible, but from what I've seen of the first volume, just way to bland for me to want to collect. Several things in the show were annoying me as well.

Bracket III Quarterfinals votes:

Shiori Misaka (Kanon)- Staying on the Kanon bandwagon (for now).
Momo (Angel Tales) - tough choice since they're both very cute, but the bubblegum hair of Momo wins out (barely).
Marie (Sister Princess) - Marie is one of the most moe characters in SisPri due to her frail nature and soft demeanor, and she's certainly more moe than Uematsu. I hope Uematsu enjoyed celebrating her upset victory over Cardcaptor Sakura, because reality will set in come March 10.
Hiyomo Yuizaki (Spiral) - Shia's cute in her maid outfit, but Hiyomo's too awesome a character, and now I see why she can be considered moe (it took me a while). Shia will know first hand that the melody of logic always plays the notes of truth, and the truth is that Shia's time in the tournament is up.

Bracket IV Quarterfinals votes:

Azmaria Hendric (Chrono Crusade) - Az's crusade to the Finals will dismantle what's left of the Ichigo machine.
Nayuki Minase (Kanon) - Staying on the Kanon bandwagon (for now).
Shima Katase (Stellvia) - Still hoping for that Shipon-Az final.
Yurie Hitotsubushi (Kamichu!) - Bell's not moe, plus the momentum of Geneon's recent acquisition of Kamichu might be enough for Yurie to pull a mild upset here.

It's too bad that Misha was defeated earlier on. She's pretty moé as well and I'd have really liked to see her and Shia compete against each other.

Woah, a couple of upsets here...

Az beaten by Anna. Actually, not truly an upset, just Anna wasn't favored to win this one... so it is kind of an upset.

Shippon is done. Beaten by a fairy. Nothing really more to add here.

Elsewhere, the Kanon girls continue on, as does the SisPri character. Can Shia get revenge for Uematsu's defeat?

Shiori vs Alvis, Shiori wins, I wouldn't have minded either way. Voted for Alvis though.

Momo vs Tamaki, Momo wins. Not suprising, voted for Tamaki.

Uematsu vs Marie, Marie wins. Still not suprised, voted Marie.

Shia va Hiyono, Shia wins. Happy about this one. But not suprised.

Anna vs Azmaria, Anna wins. WHEEEEE Ichigo Mashimaro steamrolls on~ Sorry Azmaria fans, I voted Anna /images/graemlins/happy.gif

Nayuki vs Nyamo, Nayuki wins. Not suprised again.

Shima vs Sarara, Sarara wins. Suprised, but not negatively.

Belldandy vs Yurie, Yurie wins. Pleasant suprise, Yurie was 1000x more moe than Belldandy but I was worried she was too unknown to win. So I'm happy.

A generally unsuprising round.

Man, Ana's definitely doing some damage against quite a few girls that I would have considered to be favorites in her block.

While I did vote for Azmaria in this round, I still find it nice to see Ana make it to the block semis.
