Seriously doubt I'll win, but had to throw in a bid on those cards...didn't even know they existed LOL

Yah. Those things are quite rare. I was bidding on a deck about a month ago and my max bid was $56 and I didn't win. /images/graemlins/knowital.gif The funny thing was I able to find 3 more decks from a seller who wasn't quite aware of their value. I kept one for myself and decided to sell the other 2.

And to think I have about 40 of these things just sitting in my garage along with a buncha Gundam dogtags just because people were not interested in them when I was giving them away.

Go figure.

Sounds like you have a small fortune you didn't know about sleeping in your garage.

I actually don't thing I'd get the gall to go out and sell the darned things as they were intended for my anime club.

Now the 20 Cowboy Bebop artboxes that I have, well...the one that I have in front of me makes for a great ashtray. /images/graemlins/devil.gif

Whoa I didn't know they are so valuable, I happen to get one pack during a con 2 years ago. It was given free to everyone (or while supplies last) who went to the con.

Checking the deck now, it only has 25 cards, either I lost one or they were given out like this to make the dvd buyers felt better...

Hm guess it's time to ask my friends if they still had the deck... /images/graemlins/devil.gif

edit: nevermind I counted wrong, I have all 26 /images/graemlins/cool.gif

Ouch. That hurts. /images/graemlins/stunned0.gif
There are people here who would chop off their left arm for one of those boxes, you know? /images/graemlins/wink.gif

I bet they would go for at least a minimum of $50 each if you put them up for auction.

I have an interesting story about a bidder and those tarot cards but I'm gonna wait until the auction's over because I don't a panic breaking out.

I'm also thinking about going ahead and putting my .hack//Legend of the Twilight manga on there. I have all 3 volumes that I bought a long time ago and never read.

*points* So you're the one who cost me more, eh? Eh, no biggie, I want the book for space savings. Although I have to sell my volume 1 in a normal case now... /images/graemlins/tongue.gif

nah, don't worry about it. I'm just happy to find a home for all of my extra items. It would've killed me to just throw them away since they're good items, but I didn't have any friends who needed this stuff. I'm glad some of you guys got it at a very good price. Dunno lucked out and got the R.O.D. book for like $7. Someone else got my Ryvius box for around $5 and then another person got the Vandread DVD's for about $3. Crazy. /images/graemlins/knowital.gif But I'm just lovin' the Escaflowne cards that went for over $150. /images/graemlins/sdsmiley.gif

Damn... and... wait, I recall seeing some of them somewhere... I think I really need to try to stop and remember where I saw them, and try to get them from that person. Not to sell, but just to horde. (The packrat in me wants them.) And that should have definitely made it worth your time.

Oh, and BTW, you've got money. /images/graemlins/tongue.gif

Dunno, I'm mailing yours off today. Oh! I still need a normal case for mine since I sold off the book and have the "box" version. I know you said you're getting the book for space saving purposes but the things not all it's cracked up to be. I like the book when it first came out but I'm just not comfortable using to store DVD's. I suppose if it's on a shelf it's fine. But I would never ship the thing or carry it around town with the DVD's in it. As a matter of fact when I shipped your packaged I put the DVD in a seperate sleeve so it won't come loose in shipping.

But keep in the loop about what you're going to do with your Vol. 1. k?

I personally love the KKM book, and figured that the ROD book would also be nice-looking on the shelf. In fact, if I'd known you were going to need a v1 in case, we could have negotiated a simple trade, but...
