After finishing the love story between Koshiro and Nanoka tonight, [after putting it off for awhile since volume one] it left me pondering about the conclusion in the end.

I can understand there feeling for each other, not knowing that they were related at the begining, slowly falling in love with each other, and ending up by both making a decison that would affect the rest of there lives. I just cant help but think that what they ended up doing was not wrong of them. [Im sure alot of people disagree] Sure our society is against incest with family, but if you never grew up with that person, or if you never saw that person once in your life, I just can't help but think that in their situation, there was nothing wrong with them falling in love.

I really think that what Kaname said to both Koshiro and Nanoka is the awfull truth, you can escape being related by blood but yet...*goes off thinking*

This series just really got my wondering about what would come of there relationship with each other and if they could trully be happy.

Comment if you've seen the series.

The anime doesn't do the manga justice. They don't present this as well in the anime as they do in the manga, because them having sex was VERY subtle in the anime. Let me explain how big was the love that Koshiro felt for Nanoka by the way of the manga. There is nothing wrong with the anime, but it was made with assumption you were a fan of the manga.

Manga spoilers
Koshiro descided to not have a relation with Nanoka, He was being forced by his boss into going for an arranged marriage, because it didn't look good for a male marraige councelor to be single. He finally decided to decline his boss. He then visited his mother and told her he was not going to ever get married, his mother asked if there was anyone he liked and he told her yes, but that it was impossible. His mother assumed he was in loved with a married woman.

Nanoka already had resigned herself to not being able to be with her brother. She received a call from her mom and she told her that Koshiro was acting strange and she told her what Koshiro said. Nanoka realized his brother was letting her be free to realize her dream, which was to get married, have a family and be a hair stylist like her mom.
She also realized that he loved her so much that he was not getting married. She immediatly visited him, and she told him he was not fair, that he she had to find out that he loved her from somebody else. He finally broke up and kissed her. After the kiss he told her he was going to buy some Condoms, they both blushed. He then told her that he better not, but she told him that it was ok, but that next time try to be a little more Romantic. That rest from there on is pretty much like the anime. If the mom had not told Nanoka that he was sacrifying everything for her, they will probably never would have ended together.

In the anime all these is very subtle, the manga is more direct.

At the end of this show, I saw the pending closure of the amusement park to be something of an ill-omen to Koushiro and Nanoka's relationship. The ending is all very pretty and nice and sakura-filled, but there are consequences to what the couple is doing. The anime staff may have been trying to put forth that message without ruining a "happy ending".
